When I fry eggs, it seems like only the bottom side cooks and the top is all gooey. If I put a lid on the pan then the yolk changes color, but it at least cooks the top of the egg. I usually just flip the egg out of patience so both sides cook for a short period of time. It doesn't look pretty, but it tastes delicious.

Maybe I have the temperature up too high?

"High-need" = low-income, low-performance, usually urban schools. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but the number one reason students under-perform here in southern CA is due to language barriers. The kids are smart, they just need help learning English.

Super easy to catch, Sofi... I see them on my way home from work all the time, or when I'm out with friends at night. The Disneyland ones are at 9:30, so it's not all that disruptive. I don't mind hearing them at all as long as I'm not trying to sleep (and I never am that early!). The Angel game ones are only when there's a home game, in which case it's around the same time. I love seeing them, and I'm lucky enough that my balcony faces toward them!

When I make an omelet, I push the sides in just enough that whatever is on top can fill in the space and get some time actually touching the pan. If you do that a few times, the top takes care of itself and flipping isn't necessary. Because lets face it, flipping an omelet is fucking hard.

This thread has inspired me to make an omelet! A little later though, because I just finished a bowl of cocoa krispies.

I've had dogs, cats, and hamsters as pets. I don't have a turtle, but my sister has one that is adorable.

One time I house/pet-sat for a family that had three horses, a dog, five cats, two birds, two rabbits, three lizards, a snake, and a turtle. Waaaay too many pets.

I guess it's just a preference thing, but your eggs always look undercooked to me Sofi. They're still all slimy! D:

This morning I made that omelet I said I was going to make a few days ago. Filled it with cheese, bacon, potato, green pepper, and my favorite taco sauce (I put it on everything, it's too good to just use on tacos!). It was soooooooo good.

Upgraded my TV from 25" to 32" and it only cost me $60! Thanks craigslist buyer for paying my asking price.
