I'm reading a play called "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde as well as The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner, both for English classes at school. Wilde is hilarious and Faulkner fucking sucks. But I'm not done with either one yet, so the jury is still out.
Once summer starts and I can read books that I want to read, I'm going to finally get to Gone with the Wind. It is pathetic that I've never read it.  |

Yeah, I'm liking it thus far. All of the drama I've read this semester has been enjoyable, so I can't complain about that class. It's my other English class that's making me read crap like Faulkner (and Hemingway, but thank sweet baby jesus that unit is over).

The English classes that most all students have to take suck. They're just survey courses and GE courses that feel like high school English all over again. I'm taking two English classes this semester, one of those and one for my major. I love the major one and I can survive in the other one because as boring and patronizing as it is, it's easy.
Hopefully by this time next year I'll be done with all of the non-major courses that I'm required to take. |

Oh! Well that's good to know! I still think it's more obvious in person, but at least some of personality translates online.
Most of the people here that I've talked to on skype seem like pretty fun people too. But there are a few that are total deadbeats when talking to them. D: |

Awww, I'm a total one on one person. I like intimate settings. I talk to my friends and girlfriend on the phone pretty much every day for a minimum of an hour, but my record phone call is 4 hours. I also text like crazy, but I prefer talking.
Big groups tend to intimidate me. Unless I know everyone in the group, they intimidate me. Of course, online is different. It's hard to be shy over the internet (at least for me). |
