SNN! I totally remember you. What's up dude! I'm great. Busy, but great.

Hiryuu, holy shit. Been a while. Those pre-calc scrubs sucked asssss but I'm done with math for the rest of my college career so it doesn't matter! Ah, the joy of being an English major. And no, I'm not done yet. I'm just about to finish my second year out of 5 (4 for my BA + 1 for my credential), so I'm not even halfway through college yet. Boo. No idea how long I'll hang around here. Tanks aka Shantae sent me a PM because I popped in at the other board for no apparent reason a few days ago. It's nice remembering all the cool people I met at Acmlm's, though. Lots of great folks.

Man I love nostalgia.

Could be worse. Immediately after I got done with that tutoring or whatever my college career ended abruptly (i.e. moved and haven't been back). Not a biggie though. Ended up rooming by myself and I'm down here in AR now as a computer technician (like I was pretty much aiming for anyways) and have been for about two years now. It's been about the start of 2006 since we talked last, I think.

Right around mid-07 I think this board had it with the board2 where you went 'hai' at and we broke off to form this little community. We were basically done with the drama and it's been history ever since. Every so often we see an oldbie that we try to get back on here and hope they stick. Some have, some haven't. Not a big deal but it's nice to see an old but friendly face around here.

And now for the juicy stuff! You and YD still an item? I never asked her but she was fairly abrupt in her conversation in #x (irc.badnik.net in IRC) the other day so I never really pointed it out.


What is it with Acmlm's and drama? It's like a disgusting love affair. My god.

Sorry to hear that you didn't get to finish school, but it sounds like you're in a comfortable place right now anyway, so congrats!

And uh... haha no YD and I are not "an item." Haven't been for a long long loooooong time. But I do have a wonderful girlfriend right now! In fact she just left my house to go home, hence why I'm back to posting here.

I don't really use IRC much anymore. I'm just never home. And if I am home, I'm not sitting at my computer with nothing to do. Maybe I'll have more time over the summer, I can pop in and grace you all with my presence.

And yea, most of us just post here in spare and free time. It's easier for me working around comps a lot but I keep fairly busy when the economy is NOT as shitty as it is. Eh, we didn't have much of a chance. I'll speak for myself in saying that I was too stubborn and stupid to accept it at the time. But it's all good, you know? Life is great, I'm happy, I really can't complain.

"hurr show up for college" is tough for me. My classes are mostly English, which require shitloads of reading every day and about twice as many shitloads of writing. It's a neverending cycle, it keeps me busy. Then I've got my education classes which require 40 hours a semester of classroom observation and analysis, which is outrageously time consuming. Doesn't sound like much, but it is. Then I of course have work, and a social life to top it all off. College keeps me busy.

Xk, yeah that question was rhetorical. I remember how much everyone took issue over the way you ran things. As if the universe depended upon them correcting it. And you totally egged it on! But regardless, at least there's no disputing now.

I should know. I was taking/failing Calc and teaching you Pre-Calc over IM at the same time.

I passed that class with a C! The only C I ever got in all of high school. Ruined my 4.0. I should never have taken it. But oh well... I aced math in college because of it.

I'm getting so annoyed by this.

I've been sick with a cold for weeks now, long before this swine flu crap posed a threat in the US, yet everywhere I go people hear the sickness in my voice and respond as if I'm a magician who made AIDS airborn in an attempt to KILL THEM ALL. I'm definitely not a math person. Pre-calc was enough to almost kill me, and that's as far as I'm ever gonna have to go in math. I'm more of a words type of person. I can churn out essays like nobody's business. Just keep the numbers and variables away from me.
