I get up at 5:15 most days because I have to be at work by 6am. Then I work until either 11 or noon and ... usually I take some sort of nap in the afternoon because I stay up until 3am a lot. I get up twice. But an alarm clock with two alarms generally works for this purpose. I wish I could become tired enough to actually go to bed at a reasonable time like 11:30 or something, but I am always wide awake until like 2:30am.

When you think about it though, it's when times are hardest that people fall for this kind of crap. They look for any way out of their current situation and become really gullible.

I loved this bit, though:

If I love a person, I don't care what the plumbing is. Voted bisexual for this reason.

's all I can think of to say on the subject, really.

Rad Racer. Many fond memories of playing that game ... used to just call it "the car game." I didn't have an NES of my own but my grandparents did, so I would always get excited when we'd go there so I could play the car game. I was better at it when I was three years old than I am now (I can't get to stage 7 now like I used to be able to >.<)

Here are several screenshots of two sessions in gmod yesterday.
First we did a maze kind of thing that spun a little out of control, and then we tried our hand at building a combat arena. Unfortunately Sukasa's sister was using a lot of bandwidth so we were plagued by lag for a good amount of time but it got better eventually.

Posted on 09-08-09 05:00:50 PM, in When you can name your character(s) Link
Usually I use my own name or the default if there is one. On occasion I will name a character something like "Stupid" mainly to make dialogue a little funnier. In a game where there are no default names I usually come up with something. Though I do have a file on my Dragon Warrior 3 cart with all four characters in my party named after the original team in Golden Sun due to lack of imagination.

See now, I just am totally clueless how some of you guys find so many things to say. As of this post I should be tied in like 15th place, I think.

I only hit 200 posts after about a month. I mean ... yeah. I'm surprised I have even that many given the relatively short period of time that I've been here.

There's no way I could find enough things to say to put up 30 posts in a day. Just ... wow. I salute you people who can.

It should scale to fit the page. It does use a little bit of CSS3 for a glowy effect, but that has nothing to do with the layout. I just looked over the code and it seems to be okay.

... and now I simplified it anyway (the glow is gone.) I don't see the use in having a really flashy layout except as practice in styling. All the CSS3 is gone. If that fixed it, then I would have to assume you're using an older browser, or IE.

No true photos of me exist. I am not photogenic.

I do look almost half-decent after being run through Photoshop and Illustrator though.

... it is pure hell to have a mosquito bite on the back of your ear. It is worse when it spontaneously starts bleeding when lying down on said ear. What is going on.

That's a pretty unusual experience, to be frank, though I have heard of others (however few) who haven't had the best experience either, usually with a problem making the transition from Windows, or having a hardware issue.

My MacBook Pro is from 2006 and while it has had a few heat-related issues, it's never had a software problem in its lifespan and it is almost always on; it still handles any task I can throw at it. If you're really having that much trouble with it, I have a lot of training and experience dealing with OS X (though my certification has since expired; it was for Tiger anyway.) I know of people with older MacBooks and PowerBook G4s that they still use to this day without issues, with recent applications even.

Of course, I can understand completely if you got a mid-2007 notebook with one of those faulty nVidia boards in it. Those machines sucked.

You hear endlessly of heat problems with laptops these days though. It'd be cool if they could make a fast processor/GPU that did not generate so much heat.

Caffeine, here.

Also ... the computer. Sometimes I get so engrossed in what I am playing/working on that I will forego a meal or two, or sometimes just not eat for two days.

That's how it feels, anyway.

The fourth is also my birthday. I prefer the kind of fireworks that have the long gold streaming things that last a long time. They look like weeping willow trees, sort of.

What is your favorite baked good?

I would pick a direction and just consider that up or down in such a situation, I suppose. There would still be friction with air and at least a little gravity from the platform, unless we came up with some method to manipulate gravity as we please.

Kraken thing here. From Earthbound. If you've never played Earthbound, ... you should try it sometime.

It's not done. I just like getting some feedback every once in a while, maybe constructive criticism. Until I get off my lazy arse and set up some kind of comment thing on my site, I have to find other means of getting any feedback at all. :|
