| I think it's been about a year and a half since when I largely secluded myself to Grape Gardens, but I wasn't especially active on Jul even back then. I know I at least had an account here, so I'm guessing there's been some sort of reset or purge of inactive users or somesuch?
To help jog anyone's memory: Back in my heyday (I've been around since 2001) I was probably best known for my post layouts. You could say I was the king of the post layouts... until Jesper came along and became more popular than me... Then we teamed up on a few projects (including the Gamecube Club, which I eventually tried to resurrect as the Wii Club)... And eventually Jesper disappeared, but by that time everybody knew how to make layouts (it was around that time that the "box of text with anime character on the right" layouts became so popular), so I never fully regained my spotlight. But I was still local mod of the art and roleplaying forums on Acmlm's for ages. Anyway... Kirb: I told you I'm working on a new layout. I'll put it on here when it's done. | Well, I certainly used MM7-style sprites, both in my layouts and in my avatar, but none of them ever transformed into a met. |

| Yeah, they were also full of html tables and nonsense like that. But I eventually moved onto CSS and my style changed quite a bit. Then I started doing the monthly themed layouts and such.
Actually, one of my layouts is still in working order over on archive2. It's a Halloween one. |

PHOTOSHOPPED. Just look at the lighting and the difference in detail compared to the surrounding environment. It's obviously just a gashapon figure. |

So, is anybody else still playing this? Any skills I may have had (and I don't think I was that good at it, either) way back when playing my glitchy copy of SSF2 on the SNES back in the day were mostly lost over the many years where the only fighting game in my life was Smash Bros.... So I'm basically training myself from the ground up. Playing a handful of matches a day is starting to show some proper results, too... Also, I bought the Fightstick (no, not the Tournament Edition), and it's awesome -------------------- |

| I've been using the freeware version of SyncBack (scroll down the page), but all it really does is allow for automated copying of files, not disk cloning like Ghost. -------------------- |

In any case, I think the main reason we moved to our own board was to avoid all the drama and board resets and things. I mean, that happened around when Acmlm's split into board2 and ||board. The resets and moving around and such was a bigger problem for us roleplayers than for everyone else. -------------------- |

That's still basically accurate. I uninstalled launchy at some point when I was trying some alternative and never really bothered to reinstall it, as it wasn't really doing much for me, so you can ignore that. I've actually got a program that randomizes my wallpaper, so that's only one of the hundreds that might be displaying at any given time. Also, imagine there being a lot more random files just shoved right on the desktop, and then it's fairly accurate to its current appearance. -------------------- |
