A few years ago, I could use GNOME's network manager to connect to networks, but KDE's didn't work. It was probably because of the sketchy driver support my chip had at the time, though.

Hopefully things have improved since then. It probably depends mostly on the drivers.

Nope.

Although if it does happen at 6PM, at least the world has the decency to wait until a few hours after I've graduated to end.

Never. My phone could do it, but I'm almost always able to access a full-sized computer, so why bother with the tiny keyboard?

I feel justified in creating this post because it contains no 'e's.

It's not my fault you're probably using a browser that makes it appear that it does.

The Über Update.

Spy and Heavy item sets, and a Valve payload map have been announced so far.

Oh, and also... a Meet the Team video?!?!?!

Too bad they're being so secretive about which class it's for...

Gadgets are zip files containing HTML/JS/images/etc.

I don't really have any suggestions, other than perhaps trying the 32-bit version of sidebar.exe if you happen to be on a 64-bit OS.

Or reinstalling/repairing/upgrading IE, since the gadgets use IE's rendering engine.

Considering they've been recommending using mysqli instead for a while now, I'm not really surprised.

I've not tried mysqli myself, though, so I can't comment on how it compares.

They're all (or at least almost all) promos from Bethesda-related games. Bethesda sale weekend, perhaps?

Posted on 08-20-11 12:02:22 AM, in How often do you use keyboard shortcuts? Link
Quite a lot. I didn't realize this until I began spending some time using a Mac, since most of the keyboard shortcuts either don't work or use the Command key, which is in a different location than Ctrl. I found that my muscle memory kept trying to do things that didn't work with annoying frequency.

I like it, except perhaps the center-alignment of the text. It's not as easy to read through text smoothly if the lines all begin at different locations...

I've always been partial to 36. It's a perfect square, and it's divisible by quite a few integers considering how small it is (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 36). And, it is the sum of all integers 1..8.

Yeah.

The first public preview is now available for download.

I'm going to install it on my laptop to play around with it. (Not letting it near my main system yet. )

Or maybe Virtualbox...
