umm, if you read back a page or maybe just a few posts. I beleive there is something on how the level gets scaled to fit or something. So size wise I don't think you have much to worry about. Umm, Mario truly is pretty big. It's the only way they could give him such complex animations. -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

Exactly. What did I just say. "In order for them to make such complex animations, it had to be big." It was complex then. Have you ever tried to draw a picture from a far distance? When you are done, what do you notice when you zoom in? The pic is raggody and not done very well, which is exactly why they had to make Mario Big. They needed to be as accurate as possible so that Mario does not look like a peice of C**p. -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

umm, ok... This probably has something to do with the Level terrain type, or the Level Geometry layout. If you were to set those to shifting sand lands values it might work. If not IDK what to tell you. You changed the Geometry layout pointer as well as the behavior right? -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

from the looks of it I would say yes... Umm that is really cool though. I wonder how much other beta stuff is in this game. Heck what if we find stuff that was later programmed into the newer games. -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

Bad news and good news. I think I know how to do this by hacking, but you don't want to do it that way. The bad news is, it's impossible to do so right now without coding. I tried my usual way by going to the level, replacing a common object in both levels (Inside Shifting Sand Lands) with Tweester, thus making the model availiable in Castle Grounds. Then you can give it the behavior. Just wait, i will PM you if it works, and Probably make a video of it. -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

Ok.... I will PM you as soon as possible. I have alot of school issues to figure out though, so it might take a while. Coding is not that hard. the 0x17 thing stands for where in the rom it is. I still havn't figured those out, but I understand what he means. There are information documents and all in the forum rules if you look there. They will help with the Flat World and stuff. I'll get back to you as soon as possible ok. Please don't continue this chat shyguy, because we're wasting... yeah... I'll get back to you via PM. Edit: Originally posted by VL-Tone Major fault there... umm it does work, but because the 0C gets changed, the level won't load. After noticing this I changed the 0x0C back to the original, and the level loaded fine. Also in TT64 Peach was availiable, and Tweester replaced Yoshi. Shyguy. Let me make a video of this, and I will PM it to you as well as how I did it. -------------------- Gamekrazzy* |

Actually it is possible without codes. Except it's impossible without hacking. You can use TT64 to have both a wing cap and a Metal Cap in a level. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, IGNORE THIS--Read VL-Tone's post instead. -MM88 hmm that Debug screen looks pretty interesting Messian... -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

hmm... seeing as this has gone on long enough... You gave a unique answer, and confused yourself in the process XD! I guess I am going to give the answer along with another riddle. Ok the answer to this riddle is... I know what you do not know. I truly do not understand how you couldn't get this. It's in the riddle. Here are the key parts: The riddler knows what you know. The riddler knows what you don't know. The riddler knows everything, and the riddler knows nothing. What do you know that I do not? If you thought this out you would have noticed that the question is the answer to the question. XD! No one gets any points. Bob-omb-0 emcee-0 Keitaro-0 Next Riddle. Difficulty 3 A guy leaves home, makes a left turn and continues. A little bit further and he makes another left turn. He continues more and makes yet another left turn and meets with 2 other people. Who are the people he met up with? -------------------- Gamekrazzy*

hmmm. this seems appropriate to place here. Umm... I found this wierd occurance with King Bob-omb... Apparently like Yoshi, he gets effected by changing the level's 0x05 bank. I changed it so that I will add Tweesters here. What happened to be wierd though is I could not find anything that got affected by it. BTW the reason for the other unknow and stuff is because this is actually the Castle Grounds level, but I replaced the pointers. Umm... What I find wierd here is that it notices that it is King Bob-omb, but looks nothing like such. It's just a box. The game also freezes when I get to a certain point. I wonder if this means that they were planning on having King Bob-omb in Shifting Sand Land? Maybe I am wrong. Anyways, this just seemed like an oppropriate place to post this. VL-Tone... Maybe this could simply be a place where people can post beta stuff they find. I just found that wierd, because normally I would get an unknown and, the object would be invisible. I wonder what it is. ![]() -------------------- Gamekrazzy*
