Keeping in mind that donations are appreciated, but not expected, could you share the most practical options for donating to a good cause for those that may want to do so?

Sorry if this has been done before. I'm rarely around as of late, and I thought this would be a neat and fun way to hop back in, promote conversation, and learn a bit more about my fellow Julians (some of which I might not have met yet).

My first smartphone was a BlackBerry Curve 8330. It was a great, robust, durable, but aged phone. It got to the point where it was being surpassed by other technology, and it was becoming an inconvenience. I switched to the Droid Pro. It had a physical keyboard similar to my Curve's. The stock OS on that phone was its main hindrance. I threw a build of CyanogenMod on it, and it was infinitely better. Still not the best, but more that usable. I'm currently using a BlackBerry Z10, and I have to say that I'm loving it so far. It still has the qualms of a new OS (lack of apps and a few trivial features), but it's getting significantly better extremely quickly. I can always sideload an Android app that hasn't been ported or natively developed for BB yet. And I'm currently installing the latest leaked build to get one of the most sought after features: multiple alarms. Everything is so fluid, pretty, and it just works.

Just finished my first playthrough today. Any one else picked this one up?
Overall, I thought it was a great game. I liked the story and most of the gameplay. It was very glitchy at times, though. I haven't looked into whether this is a common problem, or something on my end, though. At times the music would cut out, or all the walls, ground, etc. would disappear. Very strange, and even annoying, but it didn't hinder playability. At times, it gave me an unfair advantage by being able to see the enemy hiding when the walls disappeared, but it didn't happen often enough to be that big of a deal.
There's a New Game Plus option after you beat the game the first time. I was hoping this would let you start the game with all the weapons you collected from the first run, but alas, this is not the case. You do, however get to keep all the UPGRADES to the weapons once you get them. Which is nice, but there were a couple of weapons you only got near the end of the game that I wouldn't have minded a full playthrough with.
Overall, I'd give it a solid 8/10. Without the glitches, it'd be a 9 or 10 easy. It felt...unpolished at times.

Hey, crashandcortex, and welcome to Jul! I hope you enjoy your time here. I'm not big into the TCRF realm of things, myself. I do find it interesting, and some day I might start helping out, but as of late, I barely have time to manage what I already have on my plate.
And, in case you haven't heard: I do bite. So, you have been warned

Originally posted by Zero One Temple Run 2. I've decided that until my exams are over, I'm not going to sink my time into a game I can easily fall into, like Twilight Princess which I want to play so much right now. So, piddly little mobile games that I get bored of easily fit the bill.
Temple Run 2 would be far more enjoyable if the mine-cart segments were a little more thought out. Suddenly needing to switch track because you're about to hit a wall is pretty much impossible most times. Reaction time plus the time it takes for the mine-cart to actually tilt far enough is far longer than the time you're given to do it in. But eh. Free mobile game. I'm not expecting the time of my life.
Have you played Jetback Joyride? It remains one of my favorite mobile games, and it was my toilet-at-work game of choice for a while.

I'm giving An Untitled Story another playthrough. It's made with Game Maker, and it's decently fun. Very minimal in terms of style. Fun music and gameplay. Check out the the developer's site if you're interested.

According to your 'Registered on' date, you've been around almost as long as I have. I've seen you around, but honestly, I don't think we've ever officially met, or have even spoken at all, really.
So, hi. I'm darthbobby. Pleasure to finally meet you. All of you, I suppose. I'm trying to be a bit more active recently, after having kind of left for a while there. I'm an online friend of FirePhoenix'/FPzero, which is who brought me here a few years back. You can either find me hanging out here, on #x, or on #sr388 over on EsperNet.
I suppose that's all for now.

Hey, congrats, Anya!
I haven't seen the story that's floating around, but that cover alone makes me want to read it. Be sure to let us know if you decide to go the publishing route. I'll snag a copy for sure!
Congratulations, again!

Just adding a vote for "Yes--that'd be useful, but I'm not going to die without it."

Here's what I'm currently wearing. Nothing too special. It's hard to find a men's watch that isn't too large for my slightly feminine wrists.
