I have a problem with this. I want to learn, and do new things. I want to break some bad habits. I want to have a cleaner lifestyle. The problem is that I can't stay motivated with any specific thing for very long. I get bored with it, or something.

Can any of you share some strategies that help you? How do you do it?

All good suggestions, but all things that have been tried. I'd like to think that I'm slowly getting better, but nowhere near a point that I can be happy with. Maybe part of it is being discouraged from a lack of instantaneous results. That does seem to get to me quite a bit.

I'm not sure why I was thinking pizza...maybe you shared a pizza story about the buffet once, or maybe I just imagined pizza when you said buffet.

I agree, though. It is very hard to find extra time when you work 40+ hours a week, and still make time for family. It's rough. Right now, I'm trying to find motivation in saving money for (hopefully) college. But come to find out, either the requirements for graduating high school in my state have changed since I graduated, or my Advisers in high school didn't really know what was going on, but I seem to not have the required courses to attend even a 4 year state university. Which, for lack of a better term, sucks. After going through so many doors to be able to afford it financially, now I'm being told that I might not make it for a while, and I should go to a community college for a few years. There are a few problems with that. First, Apparently I'll get more Financial Aid at a 4 year university, and that's something I'm going to need. Second, I know me. I'm not going to be able to focus at a community college here. There's just so much going on for me here. I feel like I need to get out of town for education. I'm fairly confident that if I put myself in a new environment, I'll function better with school.

Oh, dear. I'm rambling...

Grapefruit is the only flavor I've tried. I love it, personally, but I also really, really love grapefruit.

I haven't looked anywhere else, but the Starbucks in my local Barnes and Noble has them all the time, so that might be a good place to start your search.

For Chrome specifically, there's an extention called Resolution Switcher. I'm not sure if that meets your needs, or not. There's a few more ideas that I'm toying around with, but I can't look into them until this evening. Hope that helped a bit.

It's hard for me to stop thinking of it as a 'wasted vote,' but I think I'll be supporting Gary Johnson. Realistically, I'd like to see Obama in over Romney, though.

Sorry to hear, Fifo. Have you tried troubleshooting any of the hardware? Has your system config changed recently? Try removing any non-essential peripherals, then try again. Try re-seating the RAM. Unplug and replug stuff. CHECK FOR DUST. I can't tell from your description, but it sounds like your computer could have been running for some time, and issues like this could be a sign of over heating. Try booting from a live CD or USB. Let us know if anything changes or any of this helps.

Hi, hello, howdy, well met, and good morning Jul.

I'm new, and look forward to a fine time at this, ahem, Jewel of a community. So uh, this is my introduction. I am filled with approximately 0.8 Solluxes of leet hax, and a sense of humor borrowed from the 80's (I promise to give it back when I'm done)

You. I like you. And not to worry about the biting...I've learned to control my urges.

Hey, welcome to Jul! Hope you last longer than the last newcomer! Also, on an unrelated note, don't listen to anything anyone tells you about me.
