I went to sleep at about 3. I had a short nap earlier so I wasn't really sleepy. After 12, I called up a few friends to wish them a happy new year, watched some tv and then went to bed.

No Keira Knightley or Orlando Bloom in the new one. Shame, I thought they were good. The last movie did have that scene where they spoke about the fountain of youth, so yeah, I think they had fair plans of making a sequel. POTC is quite a money spinner for Disney.

In other news, I now have a Mafia Wars addiction.

The censorship is just the tip of the iceberg. China has far bigger problems with human rights abuse. I remember reading about little children being forced to practice 20 hours a day in hopes of increasing China's medal tally at the Olympics. The government is indeed fucked up and civil liberties are hard to come by. In my opinion, it's better to have an ineffective government rather than a absolutist one. Once living conditions there improve, the people will definitely rise against this totalitarian government.

I'm partial to Firefox, I've been using it for the past 3-odd years. I have FF3.5 on my laptop. My desktop is rather ancient and runs Opera better than FF.
