Some of them do, some of them don't... it's kinda hard to tell from the screenshots.

Posted on 04-26-09 10:06:06 PM, in Windows 7 hates my wifi network O_o Link
Exactly as the title says. Windows 7 can see my network fine, but refuses to connect. I have tried this both on a spare hard drive on my desktop PC, and on my laptop (which still has it installed), using different wireless cards, both of which are fully supported by Windows 7. I am using a Westell VersaLink 327W modem/router, however I once tried turning off the routing functions of the VersaLink and using a Linksys WRT54G instead. That made Windows 7 able to connect to my network, but my internet began to act bizzare (some file types only partially download, performance goes up and down, connectivity issues).

For some reason it has become really hot in my area rather quickly, and during hot days I'd rather not be using my desktop PC, as it is prone to overheating. However my laptop is running Windows 7, so it's mostly useless if I can't go online.

What can I do to make Windows 7 work with my wireless network, without having to make my internet connection act bizzare again?

Also, maybe you know how to make my WRT54G play nicely with my 327W?

Doing this I've gotten many things which refused to work wirelessly to shut up and connect.

...if I can find how to manually input my connection info in Windows 7

EDIT: Found out how to do it, didn't work.

IT WORKS!

The problem was outdated firmware on my 327W - apparently I was behind by like, 13 revisions
Updated to the most recent version, interface was majorly overhauled (looks more like a Linksys box now), had to reset my SSID, and Windows 7 connects without a fuss! WOOOO!

Jump to 4:40 and watch before continuing in this thread.

So, when did hell start for you? G4 buying up TechTV and SEGA leaving the console business are two big ones that stand out in my mind.

So... they have to simply upgrade the backbone. What's so hard about that?

Posted on 05-03-09 12:02:12 PM, in Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver (DS/JP: 9/12) Link
Source

As announced by the official Japanese Pokémon Web site and TV Tokyo's TV program information on Friday, Pokémon Sunday is set to make a "world-exclusive first announcement" in its Pokémon Game Arena segment on May 10.

The most recent episode previewed the annnouncement, showing two balls, one gold and one silver, which will be opened to unveil the announcement's subject. Based on this as well as the fact that the game is said to have been the center of much speculation, many fans believe that the announcement will pertain to two titles: the Pokémon Gold and Silver remakes. It is also theorized that Junichi Masuda will appear on the show to make the announcement, since he did so both last month and the month prior in regard to other game-related scoops.

The next issue of CoroCoro, which will be released May 15, is likely to contain the announcement as well.

So we might be getting remakes of Gold and Silver. Or it could be something completely different? Speculate away!

The Release Candidate is out, who's gotten it? I've yet to update because I'm not quite in the mood to format and reinstall right now :V

I see there is a value for those green frog coins found in SMRPG in profiles, however I am not sure howthey are earned. Heck, the only people that I see with them are usually moderators or administrators...
So is there something specific on earning these coins, or are they limited to staff only?
