Yup. She was a huge Kevin Smith fan. The movie "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" came out not too long before that account was made. I'd have to go into the I1 archives but I think in the end we really didn't do much with it. Mostly a game of "Emuz or *What here Nickname was that I can't remember*" We had a falling out and there it ends I believe. Could have turned out to be a lot of fun... *shrug*

My brother's is the day after Christmas so his birthday ends up bring the day all the family friends stop by and hang out. While his birthday present amount is reduced, he gets one heck of a party

I'm the weird one who still has time TO post, but I don't have much to post about here, since many of my friends are now too busy to post anywhere.
It would be nice for there to be activity, but new blood will be needed--people who have lots of free time, essentially.
Well it isn't just on here. It seems to be just a general moving away from forums. There are a few friends I know who used to be a part of FFL/AB I1 who basically do all their talking on FB now.
I had a busy work day. What I was working didn't cooperate so I had to install Windows twice on this one machine. Fun

I've been able to get that at work. However.. yeah not at home.

We have snow quite often. This current year has been odd. We go from above freezing days to below. We've got up to 5 inches in one day, and an inch of rain the next. Currently it is snowing but not enough to stick to the ground.
I hate ice more than anything. I walk a lot and it makes it an actual issue.

Over the last few years, I've had three main avatars (and a whole shitload of mood avatar/one offs.) The one I am currently using here at Jul is a NSMB take on my original Acmlmboard avatar. It's Ludwig Von Koopa with a Luigi hat.
Acmlm made the first version for me when he made a version of his avatar with Mario's hat. At that time I was just a plain Lugwig v. Koopa avatar. To make 'a matched set' and since he knew I was a Luigi fan.. he just stuck a a Luigi cap on his head.

Enjoying some actual time to myself for once. We're working on a major project at work, so I've been busy on a consistent basis. My grandmother recently has been getting worse. She had to have surgery and had to move into a nursing home. Never fun . Luckily she's doing better, and the last two days work slowed down a bit. Nice to be able to something relaxing for a change! (like browse the internet)

I kinda use or have used every Mobile OS in one shape or another. I started with a first gen iPhone so I kinda just stuck with that. I don't use my smart phone for everything that I need.. it's my "in case of" and communications tool. Does the job. (I'm currently testing iOS 7 thanks to a friend of mine who is an Apple Dev.. so I am still very much the experimenting type )

I kept a lot of things from the past. Before using git and other code management systems I often made snapshot backups of things. Whenever I retired a machine I'd make a disk image from it as well.
I have no idea if any of it is still working as most of it is on CD/DVD-Rs in my attic. I've only had to recover stuff from my RO days. (I have so many chat logs you could fill a year of just reading those things.)
I'm big on preservation of data. Lots of history is lost if you don't take steps to keep it around.

Getting twitter to render your profile pic nicely can be a huge pain. If you are perfectionist like me it's an afternoon of fun with old uncle twitter and his need to make everything blurry! I don't post too many pictures on twitter (or anything really.) I've been doing a picture of the day thing on my twitter this month, but quality of the processed image isn't important for it.

Hahaha. I last spoke with Shroomy about 5 years ago. I think he still works for Tumblr. Everytime you see any slash fan art, know that our dear Shroomy Luigi Man is keeping it safe.
