| I wear a nametag were I work as well. It's optional most of the time so I can choose not to wear if it I like. I actually like when people read my name off the tag. It means they are willing to call me by my name rather than in 3rd person. However at this point most of the people I work with are other staff members who know my name by now. Online I don't know of anyone who calls me by my real name. Even people I know IRL use "Emuz" My real name isn't a secret anymore so I don't even bother hiding it. :/ |

| I had my first job at 19 years old.. lasted for 6 months. I got my current job only a year ago. To reinforce what Colin and Metal_Man88 said, don't let it scare you. If you are sending a resumé, you can actually have a section for your skills that you have. It will help show you have experience gained outside of the job field. I've had to use that for my resume since I lacked any "Employment based experience", so found a resumé format that allowed me to show the various skills I had. Also if you've ever done any volunteer work, or worked on a project online with some people (depending on what it was) you can use to show you gave back with your time. They often look for stuff like that. Also if you have been in school, that also works in your favor. Regardless. The most important thing to keep in mind, the application may not even matter to the employer as much as you are stressing about it. Be honest, fill them out with confidence, and remember they are hiring you, not your 200 words or less. If you want some information poke me on IRC and I'll see if I can find my resume. |

I think she was in a class of mine about two years ago. She was always worried about something. The rumor has it, someone from the west coast really had a beef with her. After that class I never did see her again. (but that doesn't mean anything. ) |

| The best thing would be to get a hold of someone with a record washer. Since those can be expensive they are hard to find. 1. Record Cleaner - I don't know if it would dissolve the beer, but it's worth a shot. 2. Anti-Static Record Brush - Works for dust really well. I always have one of these with my Vinyl collection. (Won't work for beer/pop though) 3. DYI Cleaning - Not tried this myself but I would say this is your best bet. It's cheap, and easy. (BE CAREFUL of the labels of course)Hopefully that helps you out. I collect vinyl as one of my hobbies so I've collected a lot of info. |

| My Brother had the G&W wrist watch they made in the early 2000's. I think he got the Donkey Kong one. (That's also the only G&W I ever remember playing in the 80's) One that is interesting is the trend some people have using the iPod Nano as a watch. I've never seen it personally. |

| I like tattoos but I don't think I'll ever got one myself. I change my mind a lot about what I'd like one minute to the next. I do have two friends who are tattoo artists, so if I never decided I can get one easily (and possibly as a gift). The one actually is working on an interesting one based on FF. It has art from all the series, and he's making the 8-Bit ones in Glow-in-the-dark tattoo ink so they glow at night. |

I'd be weary to try it myself but I can see how that would work. I just wouldn't do it on your main turntable, and I would try it on a throw-away record from the thrift store first. However I'm a cautious type. ![]() |

| I live in the middle of downtown, so I walk to work and pretty much everywhere. Since there is no real reliable place to part I currently don't have a car. If I need to get elsewhere I am on the bus line. However lately I've been thinking of changing that. |

| I have a friend who spent $6000 on his server. He used it for massive RO servers. He got fed up with the hosting company and took it home and put it on a T1 line. :/ So for a dedicated blade it's not a bad deal at all. I've used Linode for about 2 months now. I do like it, but the scale it seems is needed it would get pricey. I also still run a server at my mother's house like I did back in the day (however I am thinking of finally closing that down now that I can afford a dedicated one elsewhere) I'd be willing to donate some money as well. (This may be the first year I can afford to donate to various projects for once ) Really I think with all the content you do TCRF having a dedicated server could be very beneficial.I remember when I started kafuka.org and acmlm.org 10 years ago when I didn't have any money. EmuNET and all that kind of sucked due to the fact I could never get the main server on to a real host due to the costs involved always bugged me. EDIT: I added some to the dreamhost kitty. If you want some to help with the relocation drop me a line. |

| I too can be a klutz. Especially if a hand cart, or if I wear anything outside my vision. I'll sometimes bump into walls and knock stuff over. In UA's Computer Center I have a few dents in the dry wall I can claim as mine lol. However I rarely trip and all. My "klutzitude" is geared towards running into things lol. -------------------- -Emuz <-The classic boring signature™ |

| I think I may be the only original AB I1 era Admin that never had Reinfors Syndrome. I usually a very conservative poster. Now, I wonder what Reinfors is up to. It was funny she came, posted a lot quickly and than slowed way down. (At least from what I can remember) -------------------- -Emuz <-The classic boring signature™ |

Originally posted by Orlandu Lol. I guess so. However I regged, posted once, and vanished for another two years so it's not quite as bad as that. One I1, I had two alternate accounts. "Amuji" during the gender swap period, and "boobookittyfuck" which wasn't really my account it was a shared account with someone from FFL named (SaturnGirlie13 maybe?) since we had a running joke about having similar opinions or something. Reinfors' B2 account looks to be her, as she was there for a little over a month but sad 88 posts. Also by reading some of the back log it was her IMHO. Who knows I'm sure if she found her way back once, she'll do it again. ![]() -------------------- -Emuz <-The classic boring signature™ |
