The general idea is alright, but it's more of a Winter layout than Christmas layout.

I've heard it's very good. There's a catch though.. PC version is infinitely better than the X360 version so anyone who gets the 360 version might be happy, but going BEYOND HAPPY means getting the PC version.
Seriously. You'd think they're the same games but... No. |

Aaarg my spine is shivering for the excitement..! I can't wait!
EDIT: If I can add a last minute suggestion, how about a grabpoint between the level and the property areas so you can make the viewable level area wider..?

| That looks even more awesome! A Parallax HDMA effect would look pretty good in the background, by the way. |

Only get a Mac if you have a very good reason.
Unless you're having trouble choosing over either a Mac or a computer with Vista. ANYTHING is better than Vista.
* Play games, mostly emulated (GBA/NES mostly, SNES/N64 sometimes)
Works alright, but there are compatibility issues with N64.
* Draw on the Wacom
Works alright.
* Code for the GBA with DevKitPro (GCC based, so that should be cool)
Excellent choice. Development with Xcode tools is easy and fun.
* Code in Visual Basic 6 (naturally pirated)
Works alright, but you need either a Virtual Machine with an Operating System installed into it, Boot Camp for dual booting, or CodeWeavers CrossOver for reading EXE and other Windows files but not actually running the OS.
* Ack teh rohmz
See above.
* Listen to music in various formats (MP3, OGG, PSF and derivatives)
Audio Overload should do it. |

That is some high quality level making GY. Everything looks perfectly in place, as a bona fide Nintendo made YI game. If I had to call out one thing..those train sequences don't seem all that inventive to me.
You aren't doing too much that normal Yoshi couldn't do..other than of course flying straight up on the track. I would perhaps modify those long stretches of track to be a bit more loopy and curvy. Perhaps put one of those spinning spike sticks and have the track go in a circle around it..
Still though, great work.
SNN, you have yet to post an uninteresting screenshot/video. Great freaking job. I really cant wait to play (and hear) more of your Keytastrophe.
I couldn't have said that better. Those puzzles are really clever, and the level design itself is superb!
Good job! |

| Well, there's those two other SMB2 editors. Or, at least were. I don't know what happened to them, since I've only heard of them once. |

| You could probably hack the game to disable left/right input on the 'Select a game' screen, forcing you to select SMB3. Or just ditch the whole routine and force it to go to SMB3 at launch, but I doubt that'd be possible. |

And I still fail to see why. I disliked it deeply and I can't imagine anyone even slightly liking that song.
Either way, the Anime is great (take this from a person who hasn't read the Manga). I saw the subbed eps back a few months ago and it's very intense. |

I thought it was solved several months ago.
In fact, I remember someone posting an image of the points of the CPU paths and explaining how they work.
Or my memory could fail me :X |

Wait, what?
I have a Japanese SM64 cartridge, and I don't see that...was it added to a later revision or something?
Super Mario 64 was re-released in Japan with Rumble Pak Support and the english voice actors.
Among other minor changes. I made a document about the differences years ago.
The first things that come into my mind are the Jolly Roger Bay painting, Chain Chomp's woofing and the Mysterious Red Coin sound. |

If it isn't broken, don't fix it.
I see no reason they made Vista let alone started development on the 7. It would've made a lot more sense to make a some kind of an XP 2. |

I'm both, a ROM Hacker and a Mac user.
Before this whole thread turns into a massive fight between operating systems, let's make a few things clear;
-When it comes to ROM Hacking, Windows is superior. You can't get around that fact, sorry.
-You can edit Harvest Moon on a Mac, just not as easily as with Windows. Grab a Hex Editor and go nuts.
-You can virtualize a Windows Operating System through VMWare Fusion or Dual-Boot with Apple's own Boot Camp.
Just make sure you're running an intel mac. If not, wait for ReactOS.
But seriously, it's just ROM Hacking. I wouldn't go to the point of switching my Operating System over it. Be sure to hit me if you run into any problems, I'd be more than glad to help. Just try to drop that Apple-Attitude, aight? |
