technically the first RPG I picked up and played was Faxanadu, but this was before I knew how to read, so I never got far. I think I reached the first boss.. I'd have to see the game again, it's vague in my memory.
but I consider my first to be Super Mario RPG. I remember asking my mom what the "RPG" stood for, and then still not fully understanding what it meant. it took me ages to realize that leveling up was crucial to winning battles.
I normally don't care for the genre. besides SMRPG, which is still one of my favorite games of all time, and the first Pokemon, I don't think I've beaten any RPG. I always lose interest.

and that's it. I dropped out one credit short of transferring to a university, so I'm getting it taken care of at the junior college. I still have to wait a year to get admitted into a uni though. I might take more jc classes next semester since they're cheaper. tuition is getting pretty out of control in california.

I know overtly sexual people exist, and I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt.

I lived in the heart of san francisco, and I have never heard of a gay person whose entire personality is defined by their sexuality, constantly bragging about sucking dicks or whatever. yet I've encountered a lot of straight guys who will talk about this sort of person. they want everyone to know that they have no problem with homosexuals, as long as they're not men who are loud about their sexuality. it's just a stereotype that bothers me and doesn't seem to be based in reality.

on another note, it's interesting how even the first person to reply felt the need to point out that he has no problems with gay people. I'm not complaining, but like, why?

again, it's possible I'm missing something big and you all have experienced obnoxious homosexuals, so I won't question it further.

cigarette butts are so minor it's easy to think that flicking one won't hurt anything. many people don't even consider it littering.

I've played a lot of Scribblenauts so far, and it's just not doing it for me. I thought it would be better, but there is just no motivation beyond the novelty to actually play it. And that novelty wears off when you've thought of everything you can think of.

I completely agree. it's an interesting gimmick, but it doesn't live up to the hype and is not game actually worth purchasing. much like 'drawn to life'.
