I'm trying to rebuild my collection of my favorite NES games, and I recently picked up Paperboy, Abadox, and Castlevania for about 10 bucks total. Not a bad deal. Most people at the flea markets here charge outrageous prices for old carts, so it was pretty nice to come across this.

I just built a nice gaming computer, and I'm really amazed at how much its improved my skill in this game. For the first time I really understand how to do aerials/juggling, I don't miss backstabs anymore, stuff like that. It's like I'm rediscovering TF2 all over again. Love it

The Anchor Rod in 3D Dot Game Heroes is hidden in a ridiculously dumb location. In order to find it you have to walk on a specific 16x16 tile that looks exactly the same as almost every other tile that is on the screen, plus the location of the area with this tile isn't even on the main path and if you miss it the first time (which there's about a 99.99% chance that you will) then there is a very low chance that you will ever return to this area under the assumption that you missed something in it.

Actually, if you look at the map, it pretty clearly indicates there's a teleport tile at that position.

It's obscure, yes, but it's not "unmarked" by a long shot

On my low def TV the map appears somewhat blurry so trying to see a specific pixel on the map is pretty much impossible. Nobody cares about people like me with 10 year old TVs anymore (probably because I'm the only person on earth who is still using one ).

I'm going through another phase where I spend most of my free time playing TF2. I'm also starting to get into 3D Dot Game Heroes, which I bought the day it came out but never really made time for. I still have yet to play the latest stuff like Mario Galaxy 2 and Red Dead Redemption.. I feel out of the loop.

My new roommates really love NSMB Wii, so we've been playing through that too.
