as soon as my headphones start to fail in any way I'll just buy a new pair. I cannot deal with sounds coming in partially, or in one ear, or whatever. I've probably spent more money on headphones than any other luxury. the only headphones that didn't die on me were Bose, but they snap so easily it's hardly worth it. -------------------- fleepa | pandora | last.fm |

umm, I would try to call up a randomizing script from somewhere else, with something like @import url("http://website/layout/random.php") and have the contents of the script be
and name your layouts 01.css, 02.css, up to 05.css, or however many layouts you want, and put them in the same folder. I haven't thought about anything code-related in years so forgive me if that's completely retarded -------------------- fleepa | pandora | last.fm |

for puzzles, you absolutely must try out the Professor Layton games, they are absolutely brilliant. the Phoenix Write series is surprisingly fun and well written, but they're extremely wordy, don't know if that's your thing. the Castlevania series is still going strong, if you're seeking an excellent platformer. I strongly recommend Portrait of Ruin. Pokemon is surprisingly engaging, and I'm not an RPG person at all. they know how to improve upon the formula without overdoing it. Advance Wars is a great strategy series even for people not big on strategy. I can vouch for Dual Strike as a must try. if you want to dive into a simulation game, Animal Crossing still has a big following, and holds a lot of replay value. Viva Pinata is pretty fun as well. as far as popular games that I think are baby gimmick trash, steer clear of the Zelda game, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, Yoshi's Island DS.. that's about it off of the top of my head. there are a lot of titles that are just worth renting, such as Rocket Slime, Kirby Squeak Squad, Scribblenauts.. are you getting a DS or a DSi? if it's the former I can recommend some solid GBA games too. -------------------- fleepa | pandora | last.fm |

have to go with the playstation 2, it's always felt the most natural. probably why a lot of pc gamepads are modeled after it. the gamecube one is pretty good too. I'm still amazed at how uncomfortable the wii arcade controller is. it feels too cramped in certain spots, and I'm someone with pretty small hands. thank goodness the wii is compatible gamecube controllers. -------------------- fleepa | pandora | last.fm |

Little Big Planet. that's not a game that's been "missed" by any means, but some people aren't aware of how amazing the level editor is. if you enjoy building levels, you'll be able to pull off just about anything with this game, including your own music. it's crazy what people have come up with. as far as the future goes, Katamari Forever is about to be released here, which I haven't been hearing much about for some reason. maybe that's not a good sign. you can actually pre-order an import of 3D Dot Game Heroes on Play-Asia right now. fat princess and flower from the PSN are must downloads. flower is an easy one to overlook, but it's surprisingly captivating. made by the fellows who gave us fl0w. sorry I can't be too helpful with obscure PS3 games. I don't have a 360 or a powerful computer so this is what I use to play Saints Row 2, Resident Evil 4, Fallout 3, etc, which suits me fine. not sure about yourself. you can install Linux on it if you're that type of person. -------------------- fleepa | pandora | last.fm |

I was done with blockbuster the moment they introduced ten dollar video game rentals. the comments on that page regarding the whole blockbuster/netflix thing is pretty interesting. I never considered what will happen to online rentals once blockbuster actually goes under. -------------------- fleepa | pandora | last.fm |
