not exactly. you are given 40 hours of playtime per month, and if you hit that limit, you can pay a dollar to continue to listen for the rest of the month. you can also buy an annual subscription ($3/month), which removes the limit, disables all ads, and provides a few extra goodies. still cheap and completely worth it.
pandora is one of the best things to happen to the internet.

I think I've heard of the 3DO.. once. I forgot it ever existed until the angry video game nerd released a review yesterday of "plumbers don't wear ties," along with a small history about the console.

if you don't care for avgn, you'll be glad to hear that he doesn't put on much of a performance in this review. the game is so horrendous that it just speaks for itself. it's easily one of his funnier videos.



after some research (wikipedia), I wasn't able to find much information on the history behind this. it was actually sold for $35 on a console that cost $700. why was it made? why was it published? is it the ultimate troll on gamers?

I imagine when the writing stops being good, since that's its biggest draw. I can see how the series isn't for everyone (although not how you could suck at the first case, isn't it a tutorial?), but the stories are pretty interesting for the most part.
This game is a spin-off though, you just walk around finding clues and such. You're not a defense attorney, and you're not in the courtroom.

that's interesting, I wonder if it'll have the same charm with the MSX emphasis removed. I wonder if they'll make it easier somehow, too. hopefully a backstory to the La Mulana's development will be included, it's an incredible game that deserves a lot of attention.

when I was a kid I always wanted to play the sonic games, but my mom insisted on sticking with nintendo products.

it's difficult to imagine any game I don't actually have the chance to play today. I suppose I'd like to try banjo kazooie's vehicle building adventure for the 360, but I don't own that console.
