I never thought I'd get a ps3 until a few weeks ago. I'm really happy with it, it's seeing a lot more use than the wii.

I'm finally learning what the hell solid snake is all about by playing through metal gear solid. damn these people can talk. look forward to going through the series.

I've also been trying out pixel's non-cave story games. ikachan, guxt, whatever else he has to offer.

little big planet, gta4, and tf2 on the side.

that's pretty sweet. I'll have a reason to pick up this game again.
for a game that relies so much on replayability, left 4 dead got old pretty quick..

there's gonna be this mass pillow fight in downtown san francisco. so if you're in city, alone, and want to make your day less pleasant, there you go.
I wonder if people will show up in the rain.

after screwing around for most of my life I'm finally getting serious and going back to school. I just moved back in with my folks and I'm in the process of registering for classes, meeting up with counselors, and figuring out my future. I'm also working to get my driver's license, although driving a car is just about my biggest fear, so I don't know how successful I'll be there. overall, I'm pretty excited.

I play another iphone mmo that does the same thing. the game itself is free, and then there are like ten different packages of points you can purchase through the app store for exclusive in-game items. I don't see how this is any worse than shelling out cash for special world of warcraft armor, or a neopets popsicle, or something like that. it's also not something to get worked up over apple about.

I seriously just started a post with "I play another iphone mmo"

I didn't realize there was an in-app purchase feature, that would certainly make these packages unnecessary.

I don't know how many of you are iphone users, but the thing is, the screenshots provided in the first post are just search results of the developers of these apps. they have little presence when you're just browsing the store. they're very unpopular and are basically only for people who are seeking them.
actually, I just clicked the "role playing" tab of the store's game section and I see a lot of these packages, so I do see how this is annoying. I personally don't find them overwhelming, but I only browse the app store occasionally. apple should find a way to clean up this excess.

a feature I've always wanted is the ability to just block some apps from my search results. I know I will never buy a flashlight, i don't want to see twenty occurrences of it.

currently pj harvey - dry, through my pandora stations.

I just bought the pandora subscription, since I'm apparently in the small percentage of people who exceeds the monthly fourty hour cap they've now implemented. five hours of nonstop music is quite nice.
