Computer security researchers who have examined a recent version of the program, called Conficker C, have said it was set to try to download commands from a server at an unknown Internet location on Wednesday. There was no certainty about the intent of the program, which could be used to send e-mail spam, distribute malicious software or generate a potentially devastating “denial of service” attack on Web sites or networks.

Well, I guess it was right on schedule... Hopefully everybody here patched their PCs and has an anti-virus running just in case.

Well, the test is there so you can get a view of your political ideology. It's obviously not perfect since nothing is, but I think it's quite accurate. |

I know what you mean. I can understand somewhat when they speak slow, but once they speed up their dialogue!
I use to be like that when learning English, but what really helped me overcome that was watching a lot of TV shows in English, listening to music in English and talking to people in English, of course. Spanish is not that hard to learn, you just need to get used to the rather different (from English) verb system. |

| I really like it, except for the input boxes, white is just too generic. Maybe a very light pink like the rest of the board but slightly brighter. |

The closer you are to Libertarian means the more freedom you think people should have, the extreme would be an Anarchist that thinks that there should be no government. The contrary applies for the Authoritarian, which an extreme would be associated with Fascism.
The more you're to the left, the less you think the government should be involved on the economy, a radical left would be associated with communism which is a political ideology that promotes the establishment of an egalitarian, classless, stateless society based on common ownership and control of the means of production and property in general. The contrary applies for the right, which think the government should have more control over the economy and corporations.
I may need correcting on some things here since I'm no expert in politics. |

Ugh yes...I'm the exact same way you have no idea how many times I've had people ask me to translate this or that for them and not be able to do so (likewise, attempting to covey a Japanese concept in English or vice-versa screws me up something bad)
Ditto. While I'm fluent in English and Spanish, and translating from Spanish to English is rather easy, the other way around sometimes confuses me because English has some words (mostly words like "therefore" and "notwithstanding") that I really don't know their Spanish counterpart (and my first language is Spanish!) so I just make up some words that resemble what I know it means in English.
My thoughts are almost exclusively in English even though Spanish is my first language. |

I agree, I prefer the dark for some reason. Although, I like this theme, something in it makes me like it, not sure what though :/ I couldn't possibly use this scheme forever though, I get terrible headaches when using the PC late at night in bright pages. Maybe I could use it during the day and during the night I could switch to a darker one, but I guess I'm just way too lazy for that |

That's awesome! I find Norwegian to be absolutely beautiful, I'd really love to learn it once I'm done with Russian and French (I'm taking French classes online which really aren't teaching me much)...
I plan to study Russian next week, which is my Spring Break, at least 5 hours per day. |

There must be an accent and/or language you've heard that you totally find romantic/sexy/awesome or the opposite annoying/lame etc... What's yours?
For me there are a few; I find the Nordic languages (especially Norwegian) to sound quite cool and interesting. But as for accents, the one accent I find the most romantic is the British (Southern England) accent. I'd melt for any guy that can speak in that accent with a cute voice.
The only language I have found annoying is Mandarin Chinese (haven't heard Cantonese to compare) and (to a lesser extent) heavy German accents.
