I am annoyed that they removed tropical fruits. My favorite fruits (mango and banana) are gone :/ Crafting tools gets old very fast, too.... If the tools didn't break then I would say the crafting system is great, though.

My island's native fruit is peaches - which I don't particularly care for, so I've been planting a lot of oranges.

I just had Hawaiian food. I had it last week and had to order it again today because it's just so good. Here's a picture below (chicken, rice, and macaroni salad):

Dragon Ball Z Xenosaga 2 - The game looked cool, but I absolutely hated the hub world. I hated being forced to do random chores on it with its wonky physics. I hadn't played a DBZ game since the GC era, and I guess I was expecting a more Smash-like experience: menus that take you directly to battle, not having to awkwardly move a character around an uninspired world to talk to other people to get to my battles.... Bleh

I seem to recall having to do fetch quests for like an hour before I even got to my first battle; that was just plain bad.

Animal Crossing New Horizons - Now, I did actually like this game quite a lot, but something about it just didn't click the way New Leaf did. I played it for about 20 hours and then just got bored of it, unlike New Leaf which kept me entertained for hundreds of hours. I can't really pinpoint exactly what about this game caused it though... I feel like the animals felt more repetitive and boring this time around...?

Anyone else here play The Sims? Share your stories!

Ages ago back when The Sims 2 came out I was super hooked to it. I remember I put hundreds of hours into both the GC version (which has aged horribly) and the PC version (which still holds up really well). Once The Sims 3 came out though I fell out of the franchise because that one just didn't click with me very well. It also didn't run well on my computer at the time so I couldn't really enjoy it.

Early last year I bought The Sims 4 and have been hooked ever since. I have 700 hours in the game which is the most of any game I've played in at least a decade I think (the closest game is Breath of the Wild).

I just got a new sim (Zhen Fanglang) through university - he was studying Culinary Arts and now works as a chef. Here he is waiting for his graduation ceremony (third from the left):

And here you can see him with his geeky boyfriend (Li Meiliao) at their apartment:

After graduating he had to rent an empty apartment but thanks to his job as a chef he quickly made enough money to furnish it. Meiliao is currently still in college studying psychology.

The Sim I was playing before those two (Eduardo Rico) was an eco-terrorist-wannabe who also was head of a cult, you can see him floating below:

I can sort of play the piano a tiny little bit. Like I can play some simple video game songs on it lol. I don't play it well though, and I haven't practiced in a while, but if I were to get back into music that's what I'd be practicing.

I installed it. It's definitely fun and very pretty, but it just didn't click with me much. I already play one gacha (Fire Emblem Heroes) and that's as much gacha as I can handle to be honest.

I don't have the time to play another game lately, and these gachas tend to be horribly biased toward waifus, which I don't care about, so I ended up just not playing it as much as I thought I would.

It's fun, just not for me.

Paper Jam was the first and only Mario & Luigi game that I played but did not finish. I couldn't get past the 2nd world, I think. It just didn't capture my attention like the others. I don't remember in detail why I didn't like it, but I would definitely suggest looking at more reviews before buying it if you're still not sure.
