Yeah that's why I don't go to Twitter or Facebook anymore. It's gotten too political. Bleh~ I prefer to hang out in gaming communities.

Yes, the game's been out for a few months, but it still brings up a lot of discussion, and it's sometimes discussed on Discord/IRC so I figured if we had a thread for it we could move that conversation here where it's more open and easier for everyone to join in.

Topics:
Where are you at right now in the game?
How's your korok hunting coming along?
Rant about Master Mode / Trial of the Swords.
Rant about the rain / mechanics.
Post a picture of a nice scenery (oh my god the sun came out and this game is beautiful)
Your experience with the game.
The voice acting
Etc...

Games:
Post a picture of a random location and have people guess where in the game it is.

I'm currently doing a third playthrough, this time in master mode. I'm pretty far in now (about 50 hours) with the trial of the sword complete as well as two divine beasts. I'm just leisurely searching for koroks thanks to the amazing korok mask.

Trial of the Sword was a huge pain in Master Mode. People complained about room 10 being atrocious but I thought the whole beginning trials were a huge pain (except for room 11 maybe because water kills everything yay~)

Yeah this game has an amazing ability to keep me entertained. I've probably put about 250 hours into it and I still don't get bored, and I still find new things that I've never seen before!

Also, as for the trials, I'm not sure if you're doing master mode, but in Master Mode the first one was the hardest, followed by the second one, and then the last one was the easiest. I didn't even have to retry the last one!

What helped me was going in with a +20 hearts (5 durian) food and a 30 minute Atk Up 3 food (use a dragon horn to make it last 30 minutes).

For me it's definitely eggs. I eat 2 eggs for breakfast almost every day. Always scrambled and with onions. Sometimes with a slice of cheese. Sometimes with a bit of sausage or bacon. But always eggs.

Feel free to pick multiple choices!

I do the same sometimes but with mayo-ketchup instead of salsa / sour cream.

I think the page-chooser could use some work; it'd be possible to have it show the first page, last 3 pages, and the 3 pages around where you are now, or any other configuration. Having them all there all the time is a little weird. Something like

Jul - General Chat - This isn't a real thread (yet)

Page: « First - < Prev - 5 of 14 - Next > - Last »

Jump to page:

The dropdown would show every page, but the text version would only show the current page, previous and next, and first and last. The links could also be enlarged a little to make tapping them easier.

The only issue is that the dropdown could get really, really long for certain threads, and I'd like to keep a JS-free implementation...

That's exactly how it works on Drupal (without the dropdown) and I think it's pretty effective and all that's usually ever needed. People usually only really need to jump to the beginning or the end, or a page near where they currently are, I think.

Are there any good games that support it? I admit I haven't been following it much but my impression was that this was still very primitive / light on support?

Way to go making me feel inadequate Xkeeper I don't keep a budget :/ I do look at my expenses at the end of every month and go on "damage control" mode the next month if a particular month got out of hand, though. It's probably the worst system, but it works for me because I am thrifty by nature

I actually kinda like grocery shopping, but I do always end up taking a lot longer than I planned. It's a change of atmosphere at least ... and I like looking at all the things I can't buy (so many cakes!).

Ok so I don't want to sound like a corporate shill but it's kinda hard not to in a thread about beverages So I'm drinking Fairlife chocolate milk and it's amazing. It's really good despite the low sugar content. It's almost like drinking a chocolate milkshake...

Soda really is bad for everyone. A lot of it has absolutely way too much sugar, it's obscene. A can of coke has like 10 teaspoons of sugar in it! Drinking a can once a week is not too bad but it's really easy to get hooked on them and drink several day.... 20 ... 30 ... 40 teaspoons of sugar??

I haven't had any soda in a really long time. I usually just drink water too... Although right now I'm drinking a cup of whole milk.

It was excellent! I hadn't had this dish in years (not since when I lived in China) and I missed it so much!

99% of the time I cook. I only eat out about twice a month unless I'm on vacation or something. I love cooking and the food I make much more than most things I can find in restaurants in the area so I'm happy with this

I've taken showers in the dark the very few times power went out for long periods / while showering. It's nothing too special. If I could dim the lights I might try it that way, I guess, but right now my bathroom is pretty bright
