I don't think there's any such thing. You require that all combinations of any two of the three items go well together.
A goes well with B and with C.
B goes well with A and with C.
C goes well with A and with B.
This has to be impossible. A goes well with B and with C, and we know B goes well with C, how can they not all go well together then? I don't know how we can prove this though. I think the only reason this is difficult is because taste is subjective, and people can be picky. But I think objectively this should be impossible. |

And why?
For me it would probably be The Simpsons. I just think anything with too serious of a plot would get terrible after more than a couple rewatches, and whatever I do pick would have to be pretty long ideally. I love rewatching The Simpsons, so I probably would not get too horribly bored after a couple decades. Who knows, they might even still be making episodes... |

| I think the only one that really works is the cyanide one. Everything else would be too subjective to be convincing. But I do like the idea of 1/3 of a fatal dose of cyanide, it proves that you can't logically dismiss the problem the way I did earlier. |

7 days from now, at 11PM EST on January 12, the Nintendo Switch presentation will go live and we'll finally know more about the Switch and the games coming out for it. Here are some links:
Who's going to be watching? What are you looking forward to? Any predictions? What's your hype level!?
As for me, I hope that BOTW will be a launch game for the Switch. It's the game I'm hyped up the most for, and it'll be really annoying to have it get delayed again. I hope the Mario Kart rerelease will have more tracks and characters than MK8. We haven't really seen much about that new 3D Mario, but I really hope it's more of an open world adventure like Sunshine and SM64. I also really hope the old rumors about a Pokemon Stars turn out to be true. |

With temperatures dropping and snow falling for the first time this season, I started thinking about how much I want it to be warm again and decided to make this thread.
I think I'd like to have Spring all year, but considering the places in the world I'd have as options (I can't think of any except for Kunming, which is known in China as having "all seasons like Spring"), and the fact that summer means beach weather, I vote for summer all year. Which means that I'm out of place in the US northeast and at some point in the future will probably end up living in the tropics, maybe
I feel like the cold makes me want to go out less, which is annoying, because it results in less physical activity, and I do fewer fun activities too (like going to parks and hiking).
How about you? |

That's why I can't go for Spring all year; I love going to the beach. Owning a pool in a tropical area would be so awesome, too. Also Spring/Fall are constantly plagued with the "too cold for no extra layers in the morning, too hot for even a thin hoodie in the afternoon" thing that I hate. |

I took off this Friday just so I could be home for that treehouse presentation. I am so hyped right now!
I really hope they announce a new Fire Emblem game for the Switch, that would be amazing :o

Everyone was too busy hunting for a Switch or Zelda BOTW Master Edition yesterday Like me, for example I was able to get the Switch and the special edition of BOTW preordered, but that Master Edition went out of stock in like 5 minutes! :/
I'm most hyped for:
-Mario Odyssey
-Zelda: BOTW
-Fire Emblem Warriors
-Xenoblade Chronicles 2
But I'll also probably be getting Skyrim, Project Octopath Traveler, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
That's a ton of games for one year; some people seem disappointed, but I'm ecstatic! There's also a Fire Emblem direct coming up on the 18th! |

The battery life doesn't concern me too much. The 3DS is not that different -- I only get about 4-5 hours on my 3DS anyway. They said 3-6 hours I believe for the Switch, so I think it's close enough. Also, it's USB-C, and power banks are everywhere now, so I don't think the battery life is an issue to me.
Lunaria, did you see this video showing off some gameplay for that Mario game? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTvAQcQo3iE
I'm super hyped for it! Also I don't know what you mean by not bringing anything new -- we've been stuck with the same themed worlds for years (grassland, desert, water, forest, mountain, sky, bowser...) and this seems to be something really unique, kind of like Super Mario Galaxy. |

I'm going to give this a try!
- Skyward Sword is actually a very good game, the controls are great, and Fi isn't that annoying.
- Mario 2D platformer games are all boring and uninspired since SMB3. The Donkey Kong Country series, Yoshi's Island series, and Super Princess Peach are all way better.
- Melee sucks compared to Brawl and Smash 4. It feels clunky and dated.
- Skyrim's battle engine feels utterly clunky like it has been reused for generations.
I actually don't really feel strongly about any of those negatives though, I'm actually quite mellow about it all |

| I've been meaning to replay this for a while now but I keep hoping that Pokemon Stars will actually happen and come for the Switch. I guess I'll wait until E3 before I decide to replay Sun. |

I bet FE Echoes last week and now I'm replaying it. It's been a lot of fun and the story is great.
I've also been playing Tropical Freeze again. That's definitely my favorite platformer, even better than DKC2! |

I made pierogi lasagna!
So how I did it? I bought a 1lb pack of (potato and cheddar) pierogis at the local Polish market. Coat a casserole in butter, put frozen pierogi evenly spread at the bottom. Mix one cup of milk and cream cheese each by heating up until it blends and adding two teaspoons of MSG, then pour all over the pierogi . Spread a layer of shredded cheddar on top and some bacon cut into small pieces. Put in the oven at 400F for 25-30 minutes and while that's done fry an onion in butter until caramelized. At the end, garnish the casserole with the onion.
10/10 would die eating |

Clearly you need to open the windows!
And summer has been not too bad here in Virginia. Upper 80s mostly, but with enough rain to keep things cool (but very very humid!) |

I can't wait to not be able to get it!
Actually, though, the two games I wanted the most were Chrono Trigger and Donkey Kong Country 2 .... Seeing as neither made the cut, I've been debating whether to just get a raspberry pi and use retropie :/ |

Mine is way too cold and I can't stand it. I'm thinking of getting a space heater or something. Of course we have some employees who think this is just right or a bit warm, but I think they're ridiculous.

I think I will have to start bringing a sweater. My fingers also get really cold, but I have to type so gloves won't help there. We used to have electric blankets and those were great but now our boss doesn't want us using them anymore ... I guess we looked too much like a bunch of hobos in the office |
