I walked with friends to a restaurant in Virginia for dim sum, and it was really good! It was as part of our celebration of 中秋节 (Mid-autumn Festival) The dim sum was really good, I had dumplings, spring rolls, some pastries, and some other things I can't really name.

I ended up falling asleep when I got back ... somehow I'm really tired.

I'm watching Dragon Ball Z again in Mandarin. I noticed that my pronunciation improved a tiny bit from last time I watched it (I began using the half-third tone unconsciously even though I had no idea that even existed! )

It seems that Winter forecasts are agreeing on a colder than average Winter for the northeast:



My short term forecast shows consistently below average temperatures, so the trend is already set. West Chester, PA might be getting snow by the end of the month, too, it seems.

Here in DC we're getting winds of 87mph on Monday night and above 60mph for most of Tuesday according to accuweather .... Bah, last time I was in a storm this strong was quite a while ago in Puerto Rico.

The winds have been downgraded here to 63mph tomorrow afternoon. I believe the storm might be making landfall farther north than predicted originally, hence the downgrade.

Nonetheless, classes were canceled for tomorrow. I guess I have a whole day of reading ahead of me.

With lows in the 30s and highs in the 50s .... it's pretty cool lately. We got a tiny little bit of snow yesterday but it didn't stick.

Yesterday it was about 20 degrees colder than in Boston .... this is DC.

Oh that's true, it's Halloween. Heh.

The guy I'm dating went to a Halloween party because he promised a friend but he didn't even have a costume. Halloween is just that holiday service clerks hate so much (alongside Christmas). Nonetheless, I'd like some chocolate.

So, I was just reading on how to maintain stubble. Because the guy I'm dating apparently thinks stubble is hot, and obviously that means I need to have stubble.
