I got it one year for christmas and I started playing it, and for some reason I get that christmas spirit just grew into the first part of the game for. So I just started to play it every year without thinking about it.

Now that I'm a bit older this is one of the few ways left for me to get into that holiday mood!

And Terra, last time I played it I linked it up with OOA (and then back again) but for the most part I don't. I don't like OOA very much/not as much as OOS!

Oh, that's pretty cool. For me it's the other way around, I like OOA slightly more than OOS. But I've played them both and played both linked games.

I don't really keep a log of my dreams or anything, after all they're all usually about guys

The one that got farthest away from the rest was about two months ago when I dreamt that I was a kid living in France during the revolution, Voltaire was alive and leading the revolution and I was separated from my family and stranded in Paris.

I can't really remember much about it, it was so long ago and I don't usually remember dreams... I do remember I had to read a novel titled "El corazón de Voltaire" (Voltaire's Heart) just a few days before the dream...

I'm playing Paper Mario:TTYD, I started it about a week ago and just today I beat the Shadow Queen, now to level up to the limit, get the last tattles, the badges I left, cook all the dishes, finish the Glitzpit again and go through the Pit of 100 trails.

I actually enjoy the cartoon-ish looks of the characters, opposed to "photorealistic" stuff or higher end models, such as Aion. And this also guarantees that I can play it on a low end computer

What I hated were the character options I was given during the trial, they all looked ugly. Then when I go around the world other players have some cool characters and I was stuck with an ugly viking-like dude.

As for the battle system, I've only played the trial so I didn't get far (I uninstalled it the same day anyways) and I had no plans on buying it ... so yeah, I did probably miss a lot of things.

I'm still tired, we had a family party with lots of food, music and dancing last night and it was over at 3am, and I only slept until like 9am :/

Reddish and orange are very common here in the tropics, I usually see it that way quite often during the afternoon.

I would definitely trade it for the Aurora Borealis in Norway, though ... I would love to move to Scandinavia someday...

I watched it last Saturday (or Sunday?

) and I thought it was epic. I watched it in 2D and now I wanna watch it in 3D to see the difference. The plot was very interesting, the effects were cool and the ending was pretty good. I can't wait for a sequel.

Hey hmm, anybody thinks CUNY is a good college to go to? I'll probably apply to the Hunter College to study German. I'm forced to go to a college near Philadelphia because all my family lives there and they don't want me to go too far.

The University of Vermont recently sent me a booklet describing the university and all, it seems pretty cool too but very expensive. I don't think I'll have much trouble getting financial aid though, minority FTW!

Also, my total SAT score was 1630 which I don't think was so bad.

I'm currently considering University of Vermont, CUNY and West Chester University. I don't live anywhere near that area, I'm just moving there next year so I'm not very familiar with things there...

Colleges want diversity, you can't blame them if they give priority to rarer, minority students. This is done in many countries around the world.

You have 10 apples, 8 red apples and 2 green apples and you want a more balanced pack. You are offered to choose a green apple and a red apple that otherwise seem similar to you, you're obviously going to pick the one of a rarer kind, the green one. With this, I think it's normal for colleges to prefer a black student over a white one if both of them report a similar background in their applications.

I don't, however, think it's right to reject a clearly better prepared majority student (say GPA of 3.5) over a less prepared minority one (say GPA of 2.5-3.0)
