I could probably write a novel on this fucking situation. I wish I had some advice for you but I'm in the process of working through something uncomfortably similar myself just...hang in there. It's really all we can do to maintain sanity. I don't let it bug me too much since honestly, I'm not quite at a point in my life where I need to be worrying about this sort of thing anyway but that doesn't make it suck any less, y'know? ![]() |

Salt n' Vinegar, if its by Cape Cod brand...epic. I never tried those ketchup ones but they look pretty killer. I also like Buffalo Ranch Doritos, sour cream and onion Ruffles, and barbecue Cape Cods as well. This whole thread is making me want chips now ![]() |

| I think that if Jack helped me off a horse, PETA would be pretty pissed. No amount of Jello or Elmer's glue can provide an excuse for just offing a horse for no real reason. That being said, Jack is an ass, and because of this I would not help him off a horse. He can go back to his box and order two tacos for 99 cents for all I care. |

My cousin and I used to call Klash from Donkey Kong Country "Rolling Rod". I still don't know why. I also used to call Toad "Marvin" (or "Marvin the Mushroom") ![]() |

| Well. I guess its kind of obscure in the US now. I'm a huge fan of the TOMY brand Pokemon collectible figures. Specifically the original "Monster Collection" figures. I've been collecting them since I was 10. They came to the US for a short while packaged by Hasbro as "Battle Figures" (how they managed THAT, I don't know. The toys all even still said "TOMY" on the backs...in fact it was just the TOMY toys in a new package)...and you could usually find the original Japanese ones (or the Chinese region packaged ones co-produced by Auldey, otherwise the exact same toy) floating around in game stores and the like for the longest time back in the day. Well, anyways, they for a while retired the original 151 and reissued them as a series of repaints. Feh. Now they don't even make THOSE anymore, there's actually a very limited release of figurines available right now, apparently, which is really annoying. I kinda don't like the direction they went with it...well anyways, I'm on a quest to collect the original 251 Pokemon (as those were the only series they actually put effort in to and completed)...they are incredibly hard to find now, though the Johto figurines are significantly more abundant than the Kanto ones, the originals of which are near impossible to find. I've lately been checking out Yahoo! auctions to try my luck there. I only need about 18 more and I'll have the first 151. I'm missing somewhere around 40 of the Johto region Pokemon. I don't know, never been big on collecting but I really love Pokemon and I just think it'd be awesome to have all of these. I have a big shelf going all along the wall of my room right now displaying my collection...I really think it adds a lot to be able to show them off. Hopefully if I get my own place (as opposed to living with roommates) I'll be able to show them off in my livingroom or something. |

| Some dude on craigslist had some killer deals going on. One of the roommates and I might take a trip and grab some of his stuff, he had the NES Castlevanias for next to nothing which I'd love to get my hands on. Other than that, I got Chrono Trigger for 4 bucks from some Asian guy who bought the English one by accident and wanted to get rid of it. ;x |

| Voted always and never. It snows all the time ever in Massachusetts and in Texas if it snows the whole state shuts down and panics. Hilarious contrast if I've ever seen one. |

| I usually lay down and prop it between my stomach/legs, it really doesn't get too hot which is nice. Sometimes I place it on the bed or my lap but this is probably my most common position. |

It lasted me from when I was 15 up until a few months ago--almost 6 years, and the ONLY reason it died was because I was a dumbass and washed it in my pants. Even then the thing still worked! The battery was just shot. I've also never had any issues with my iPhone being super fragile. I've dropped it plenty of times, granted its got a shell on it but there's hardly even a scratch on the screen. So seriously...what? |

| You can still get paid apps. Buy an iTunes giftcard from the country of your choice, there's tons of websites that will offer to help you out on this, you purchase it from them, they scan it in and give you the code to enter. You get credit and boom, paid apps. I do this to buy music from the Japanese iTunes store and its yet to fail me. |

I chalk it up more to Windows itself being weird, but its still kind of a pain to have to look through every single picture I've taken just to find one or two particular ones at a given time. Oh well ;x |

I only really do if I know the people around me will get it, and even then its not very often unless it would somehow be really funny. I obviously wouldn't go around telling people their balls are inert or whatever if I knew that at best it would go over their head in terms of what I actually do say...hrm. There's kind of a (now not so funny) joke my roommates and I started last year when I was asked the time. It happened to be 9:38 or something like that, so I paused, looked him dead in the eye and proclaimed "It's over nine-thirty!!!" We had a good laugh at that for a few days, then it got old. ;x oh well.I do have one friend who I almost always make Pokemon references around and we giggle at those like a couple of retards though ;x |

I know plenty of people who refer to their browser as "the internet", and if their browser is acting up, "the internet is broken" or something along those lines. I don't really bother to correct, it just gets more confusing. I remember a few years back when my parents were less tech savvy (they're a LOT better now), something would occasionally happen on my mother's laptop that made her IE or Firefox shortcut disappear, so I'd get called in to ask why "the internet is gone". Again, they've gotten a great deal better ![]() |

| Hmm...well, the thing that comes up for me doesn't appear to have that option. I'm using windows XP, and it takes me in to some wizard, basically, that just shows all the pictures and a checkbox to indicate which you want to upload, as well as a few buttons for rotating purposes. No sorting options or anything, its pretty basic, though I'm sure I could fool around with it more to see if there's a more advanced mode or the such. If it was a matter of viewing it like a folder then yeah, I'd be all set, but there doesn't seem to be that option. |

| To be fair, they were simply always referred to as The Four Seasons on their albums, Frankie's name was never used outside of word of mouth. In fact, they were known as The Four Lovers before that, which could lead to another point if you're trying to talk about originality--not necessarily in their case but there's way too many bands that simply use the number of members as a naming gimmick. This has been known to backfire, such as in the case of Japanese pop unit Kanjani8. One member is currently on a bit of a career hiatus, leaving the group with a total of 7 members. Oops ;x |

One thing that bugs me is when people say things like "pwned" in real life. (pronounced "poned" when they say it) I mean...granted its fine if you're playing a game with some friends and you wish to shout a cry of victory etc., but if your day to day life you go around saying "oh yeah there were some n00bs in line at Burgerking so I pwned them with my order those chicken nuggets were hax" then...that's where you cross the line. If you can't tell by now I'm clearly more of a closet nerd unless I'm around people I'm incredibly comfortable with otherwise I rather not make an ass of myself. |
