Greetings, everyone.

I was invited here by Shadowstar, whom I happen to be a close, long-time ('03) friend of.

I don't register on forums very much nowadays, as I find it rather tough to maintain my interest, and fit in with the community (as opposed to the past). However, I will try and post at least every once in a while.

If you happen to prefer addressing others by their real name, you may call me Ian. Alternatively, you could also use "X8" (short-hand for my alias), if you're too lazy to type three or five characters.

Anyway, that's about it. I don't really have much else to mention, as I'm rather generic.

The junk we had in the cafeteria whilst in grade school wasn't something I'd even constitute as actual food; it was poorly cooked, and tasted awful. Those rectangular-shaped pizzas in elementary were terrible. Terrible.

Junior high was a bit better, and actually had a good selection of decent things - the calzones, specifically (Although I'm sure that was government food, and not cooked by the cafeteria staff!).

My high school stocked on the general brands of chips, juices, sodas, and a some various governmental things, such as spicy chicken burgers. Though, the prices were jacked-up high as opposed to everywhere else you could purchase them. A dollar for a can of soda? No thanks.

Well, X, you certainly take the cake. Here I thought two weeks was long.

As far as uptime goes on my end, it's usually only a day, and seldomly two or three - but never beyond that. I've always had the unfortunate luck of having a machine that drops significantly in performance if left on for a day or more.

Of course, my father doesn't appreciate electricity being consumed by things not in use. I have to pay for my share of the electric bill, so prolonged periods of uptime will just result in more money out of my pocket.

Eh, I'm not too fond of the idea of having to dish out money to buy a new one, only to sell my old and get hardly anything back for that. My slim happens to work just fine, so I don't think I'll bother with the third gen. *shrugs*

Cherry's all right. I prefer it when it's black cherry vanilla, though, or just vanilla.

But, bleh. Soda has bothered me in general as of the past few months.

I guess I could see why others wouldn't eat it, but it certainly wouldn't stop me.

...But, taking into consideration how much of a picky eater I am, I'd probably puke at first bite of any of it.

Sadly, I'm still on 800x600, due to using a semi-old CRT. I'd have to bump the monitor DPI to 120 (large) in order for 1024x768 to not appear ridiculously small. However, at 120 DPI, the system tray icons become all grainy, and icons are spread too far apart for my liking.

In short, stuck on 800x600 due to monitor limitations, and eye strain from higher levels.

I feel sorry for my co-workers who have shifts today. My best guess is that it's going to be extremely busy. :[

Since I don't work tomorrow, it'll just be the same as any other day I'm at home; sitting around, and being unproductive in general. ...Or painting the office room with my parents. Then again, my dad hasn't even asked me to help.
How peculiar.

In my case, it's more the other way around.
I loathe more food now than I did when I was younger.

I've been having quite a few problems, really.

For the most part, I'm usually awake during the night, but I've almost always been able to fix my schedule, and adapt to normal hours. But, as I am right now, I haven't been able to do that for over a month.

Ever since I started working, I can't seem to get more than four hours of sleep per session. Once I wake up, I feel completely charged, but slowly tire a few hours later; at which point, I go back to sleep. During my second sleep session, it can range from another four hours, to a full eight. Rather strange, really.

I think my sleeping problems may be connected to the fact I work and get off late, so I'm still wired despite being tired, so I don't sleep long. But, hell if I know for sure.

As much as I've worried about falling down stairs, thankfully, it's never actually happened; I've had a few slips, but not much else.

Not too sure, but sounds like you developed a charlie horse, Anya. When muscles are worn from consistent labor, and are put to rest without any prior stretching, they "tighten" and extreme pain can develop.

I have a similar job in which I stand all day, and I do leg stretches once I get home so as to eliminate any chances of charlie horses developing.

In regards to dreaming something that actually occurred...
...Long story short, I wet my bed.

Yeah, I had a similar problem once.

The net went out on me all of a sudden, so I headed to the kitchen to rectify the problem. I unplugged the router from the back, and reconnected it a few seconds later. The connection hadn't restored, so I became frustrated; I ended up fiddling with the router for a good few minutes, until I realized the adapter was unplugged by accident, according to my father. Ahahaha.

I have to say I was amazed how hard this game was opposed to its predecessors. A friend of mine argues that Wily was tougher in MM7, although I beg to differ by a huge margin.

And on that note, still haven't beaten him. Lost my patience and the like, what with having no supplies and dying so many times. I'll probably stock up and try my hand at it again in a week or so.

I completed the entire game not too long ago, and I have to say, it's pretty much superior to the original in every aspect (I had expected to be disappointed, really!).

...You'll just have to unlock Megaton Punch and Samurai Kirby.
