You need to provide the full path to the .bin file, not the relative path. What's your command line look like? If you're copying and pasting the .bin to the directory with the Python script, I could modify the script a bit to make it easier for you. |

| equipitemtable.tbl is the file for the equipment data, not the equipment names. You want equipitemnametable.tbl (without --t for that particular one). I should have programmed in a check to make sure you're loading only name tables, but I wasn't entirely sure how to do that quickly. |

Well, equipitemtable shouldn't be an empty .tbl, but it won't dump to a .txt file properly. The name tables are:
Item/
equipitemnametable.tbl (Equipment names)
limititemnametable.tbl (Scrolls which teach Burst skills)
seaitemname.tbl (Leftover from EO3. Ignore it. It wasn't even translated in the English release of EO4)
skyitemname.tbl (Food and airship item names)
useitemnametable.tbl (Monster ingredients and consumable items)
Monster/Table/
enemynametable.tbl (Monster names)
Skill/
playerskillnametable.tbl (Player skill names)
enemyskillnametable.tbl (Enemy skill names)
Also, it looks like they made skillcustomtable into a .mbm file in EO4 (I was testing on EO3 stuff), so you might not need --t for any of these files.

It happens translating a file with the kurimuu tool too(the classexplainname) When i translate that file or the crash or the text is empty. Why it happens?
Something is wrong with the encoding. You're putting it in fullwidth, right? So it looks like this? |

| Be very careful about inserting line breaks into the file. If you add any, it'll shift the entire file down. |

Yes, I have. I'm honestly not sure what's going wrong, then. Can you post the text file you've edited? |

| Sorry about the delay. I've been busy. I looked at your test file, and it looks like the first 95 or so lines of the file are missing. I dumped the text file myself and got this - https://pastebin.com/i6crTPEH. I'm not sure why so many of your lines are missing. Try dumping it again and make sure it looks like mine. |

| Just noticed this now - sorry for the late reply. When games are recompiled for different regions, the code is often in completely different spots. What exactly are you trying to do? |
