Eh. I've been up for 18 hours and I'm not that tired. Just have someone to hang out with and you'll be able to make it for quite a while.

I used to be a lot like you guys (with regards to being unable to change my ways of thinking). What happened was something I really can't explain; at some point, my really rigid problems with thinking simply disappeared and I started to learn how to learn. Most people who struggle with learning and improving are not somehow just not capable of learning, but don't know how to do it properly. I do have something to suggest though: I read bits and pieces of a book called "Fundamentals of Piano Practice" once. I don't have much interest in pianos anymore, but the book contained a fair deal of interesting tricks and information on learning that could be applied to really any sort of pursuit, and in particular, a page called "post practice improvement": http://www.pianofundamentals.com/book/en/1.II.15 Give it a read. It talks about how most of the learning occurs after you are done practicing, and not while you are practicing. In addition, I recommend reading a full series by a blogger named Vlad Dolezal, who outlines good ways to learn: http://vladdolezal.com/blog/2008/the-secret-behind-learning-any-new-skill-quickly/ http://vladdolezal.com/blog/2008/learning-mastery-2-post-practice-improvement/ (this covers the "post practice improvement" I mentioned earlier) http://vladdolezal.com/blog/2008/learning-mastery-3-fail-early-fail-often/ http://vladdolezal.com/blog/2008/learning-mastery-4-teach-it-and-hypothesise/ With regards to people being stuck in a rut... I don't know what to say. I've always lived a spontaneous life. I don't have a routine. I actually dislike having a routine. Maybe the learning articles will help; after all, being stuck in a routine would, in part, be due to the fact that you don't know HOW to break it, and that your mind is stuck on one track.

Could they possibly show mockups where Firefox actually becomes a good browser? Does anyone wanna take a guess on how much RAM it's gonna use up? My guess is gonna be half a gig if it's open for more than an hour.

I've seen many people get treatment very quickly. I've also personally experienced nothing but fast and affordable (usually free) medical care. Besides, even if what you were saying were true, it's still a marked step up from the USA's insane system. |

Affirmative action is a bad idea in its current implementation; it should favour the person who comes from a worse economic background. Unfortunately, this often means the black person (thanks, American society!), but not always. Also, anything that favours a 2.5 black student over a 3.0 white student is racist. That's not affirmative action. It should only be applied when two applicants are so close to each other in qualifications that to choose between the two would basically be a coin flip anyways.

Gau is actually the best character for the first half of the game, you guys. Anyways, I hate extremely formulaic, predictable characters.

This happened to me in Dynablade. A button randomly appeared on the mountain stage and when I hit it, it loaded the Marx fight. Probably a ZSNES problem; it is a bad emulator. Use SNES9X.
