| There's a reason I hate the American political system. The Senate is inherently unfair (two senators from each state, regardless of population? Honestly?), the House of Representatives is essentially neutered by the Senate, and the idea of a head of state completely in a different branch of government compared to the people actually running the show is just stupid. The amount of power that the lobbies have is far too great, and since rich, powerful people tend to be conservatives who like the status quo, it's hard for shit to change in a two party system. Europe is so much more progressive because its nations are smaller, and the amount of Members of Parliament across multiple parties alone make it hard to buy power. The party's buddies over in the "health" "care" "insurance" business and the "defense contractors" business take in so much money now that it would hurt badly for the Republicans to stop their terrible practices. Political discourse is gone in the USA. Gone is the debating of policy and method and in is lies and fearmongering to make points. The Republican party has been bought by big lobbies, and so has a fair portion of the Democratic party. No longer do they research or fact check. Sometimes, they just make stuff up. There are so many more problems than these, but if anything needs to change, fixing the system would be a good start. |

| Congratulations! That must make you feel great. Just remember not to fall into the trap that so many do; stopping the program once they've reached their goals. |

Originally posted by yde Shock weapons to knock out his shield, then set him on fire repeatedly. Run around like a scared girl. If you have the health grenades, use those. If you're about to die, fall down near a random weak enemy so you can get a second wind off him. It's still pretty difficult, though. |

| Multiplayer maps which favour defense over offense Very powerful indirect fire weapons Jumping puzzles with invisible walls Unskippable cutscenes Children and teenagers who DESTROY GOD and SAVE THE WORLD (or, every RPG out of Japan) "Matchmaking multiplayer" instead of typical server browsers Elements of luck in a strictly competitive game The list could go on and on... |

Originally posted by Sonicandtails Uhhh, no, that's not true at all. Map scaling is a major part of map design. Gold Rush is a good example of a map that's reasonably balanced at 24 players, but becomes very difficult to win on offense at 32 players. |
