After a flight of stairs, the now bigger group reached the Home Economics classroom. Kirby: Ah! There's a waterfountain outside this class too! He quickly walked up to the waterfountain and drank some water. Kirby: Ah, I love the water at this school~! Hm? Kirby glanced at Teyla. Kirby: Weren't you going to get your clothes washed? Kirby: Ah, I see. He nodded before walking towards the classroom. The classroom was quite spacious, with various household related areas. All of the areas were quite small, at least compared to the vast amount of space allotted for cooking. Kirby: Windows! There were windows in this classroom, immediately making Kirby feel like this was a much safer class than the previous one. As he made his way to a seat by the window, he realized there was an adult sitting cross-legged on a table at the front of the room. The adult was wearing a labcoat, a rainbowy blouse, beige shorts. As if that were not odd enough, there was a rainbow colored necktie tied around her head. She sat on the table with her eyes closed. She may have been sleeping, but she was not making the usual sleep-while-sitting-and-not-leaning-on-anything movements. Kirby: ... I wonder if that's our teacher. --------------------

	Teacher: Ah! I see. The teacher pointed in the direction of the washing machine. She still did not open her eyes. Teacher: Your goal lies in that direction. Be sure to pull out the bandanna out of it, unless you want some gnarly colors on your clothing. Just place the bandanna anywhere. It will be taken care of. However, the insufferable locals frown on this, so I must suggest looking for your gym clothes. 	Teacher: The bathroom, of course. Yuuko's thoughts would have done some of the students a favor. While most of the students were females, there were a few blushing males stepping into the class. With the small grins on their faces, it may be that they had motives for choosing this class other than wanting to learn how to cook and sew. --------------------

Kirby: Huh? Kirby blinked at Melo. He was unaware of what Yuuko had done and what Melo was referring to. Before he could get a proper response, the students' voices seemed to have suddenly changed. There was a lot of audible gasping, a lot of "kya~!"ing, and one male student was heard saying "I am SO glad I chose this class!" Kirby turned around and noticed a blonde, with some sky-blue highlights, haired girl stepping into the classroom. Her school uniform was worn properly, unlike the many students who get away with whatever unprofessional style they can. There was a sort of air around her that made one feel as if it was a privilege to be in the same vicinity as this person. A beauty higher than most of the school's had stepped into the classroom. Female Student: Kya~! It's Sarah Rhys! Female Student 2: I didn't expect you to come to a class like this! Sarah: Well, like, you know, I can't do this sort of stuff at home, so I figured I'd learn somewhere. Kirby: Why the heck was there so much emphasis on one student stepping into a classroom? Was that an introduction? Of course, there was at least a student that did not care for this privileged air. Female Student 3: Move your ass. You're in the way. Sarah: Eh? Sarah Rhys was shoved aside by another blonde haired girl. The other students all glared at the girl, but eagerly stepped aside when she walked through the small crowd by the entrance. Even wearing glasses, this girl looked intimidating. Sarah: Eh heh. Well then. We should totally look for seats, huh? Female Student: Yes. Female Student 2: Good idea, Sarah. --------------------

The bell rang, signalling the start of the next class period. Students tried to crowd as much as they could around Sarah Rhys while trying to keep their distance away from the angry girl. The teacher put on her half framed reading glasses and opened her eyes. She then slowly got off the table. Teacher: Right on. Welcome, class, to Home Economics. I am your teacher, Louise Laruto. As you expected, this is going to be a very mellow class. Frankly speaking, the school couldn't afford more household stuff, so we got a lot more stoves and ovens. Not a problem, though. Sometimes we get the munchies at this time of day. --------------------

	There was a slight grimace on Kirby's face. Kirby: Agh, you don't mix the whites with the other clothes.. Miss Laruto: Whoa, hold on there, little one. This is the perfect opportunity to learn how to make your own. Though, it is a bit early in the curriculum to make a new school uniform. --------------------

Miss Laruto: Oh, right on. Well, in that case.. She walked over to a pantry and pulled out a print out. She quickly wrote a few things on the paper and handed it to Teyla. Miss Laruto: Well, here's a late pass. I really doubt you would get in trouble on the second day, but there will always be a few insufferable people out there. As for the rest of you, let us get right into the learning. We will start off with simple stuff. All of you will have to make as many cookies as there are letters in your name. If you have some wicked long name, then go with your place of birth. If your place of birth is wicked long, too, then, uh, just go with a hobby or something. Kirby: Amazing. Miss Laruto: Cookies used to be associated with New Years. They were used to greet visitors on that occasion. Nowadays, cookies are eaten at any occasion, and one of the most abused items by corporate fatcats. However, we are making the good stuff here, so it's all good. On the tables are aprons of all sizes and types. Inside the pockets are little laminated cheat sheets. The ingredients for cookies are printed on them. There is not much to making cookies. Flour, butter, and a few others. You can add any flavoring you like. Be sure to wash your hands before handling the ingredients. And if you need help, do not be a prude. Ask for help, from me or from the other students. The students began moving towards the aprons after the teacher finished speaking. One male student lamented the fact that there were hardly any aprons that looked like one a maid would wear. Kirby laid his backpack by the closest table, which happened to have an oven underneath it. He then walked over to the aprons and picked one up. He pulled out the recipe card and looked at the ingredients. A slightly open smile suddenly grew on his face. Kirby: Unsalted butter. And sugar. This is going to be great. --------------------
