Which is why anti-censorship protesters need to find a way to BE a pain in the arse. Protesting in the streets, and letter writing isn't enough: it won't dent the fear the government has of the Australian Christian Lobby. --------------------

It makes me sad that this is becoming one of those "oh, I'm glad I don't have to live in Australia" issues. Australia has many very nice things going for it. It is unfortunate that the Christian right have the power at the moment to impose such systems, and very sad that these systems are actually very anti-family and anti-child in the process: it won't achieve what they want it to. --------------------
