You know, you'd think after all of these years of seeing idiots I'd be better at emulating them to get a laugh out of people.
But I have trouble with the whole idiot thing. I mean, it takes me a lot of effort just to spell things incorrectly… --------------------

I just can't spell anything wrong without trying really hard, and I'm not really able to get into the mindset.
Although I've noticed it involves a lot of calling people faggots, telling them that you can use a proxy, and saying that you hate everyone. Perhaps next time I try to be all pretend-baww, I'd come at it from my own unique angle, but then there's the risk you'd take me seriously ![]() --------------------

@threadnamer This isn't like Twitter. There isn't enough #spam.

The Bamboo series are fun, functional, and great for learning. They will certainly do the trick.
I have an Intuos as well, but it's a little one. It's my second Intuos now, and if you do any art that needs angle-sensitivity (like airbrushing where you need to spray off in one direction) then you'll need an Intuos. It's the lowest-end one that has this feature. Pretty much all of the Wacom products are reliable, functional little products. I wouldn't buy a tablet from another company. --------------------

I find the iPhone to be pretty good, actually. The capacitative touch (that thing where it uses the electricity in your fingers for touch) works very well. There are styluses available which channel your capacitative electricity, and I've tried them, but for anything but drawing I've found it's easier to just use my hands.
Also, most of the phones you guys mention don't appear to be available in Australia either. --------------------

Well, I'm fucking sick again. Getting fed up with being sick so often.
My friends on Twitter think I have Whooping Cough because there is an outbreak of it in Adelaide. I fucking hope it's not Whooping Cough. As an asthmatic, I fear that would fucking end me. --------------------

I hear the Cintiq (the one with the screen) is nice, but yes, starting at at least $2000 AUD, not something I will be spending money on any time soon.
I need to get a wide angle and macro lens for my DSLR first, and they're over $1,000 a piece too! ![]() --------------------

The pink wouldn't have sufficient luminosity contrast with black text. I could make the pink darker, but then it wouldn't be a hot pink any more.
![]() Same with if I made it a pastel. How long I stick with hot pink is another story, but it's definitely a bold colour choice. ![]() --------------------

One day, please, can we try to fix up a lot of this stuff? I understand it's not easy, but is anything worth doing that easy?? --------------------

HUZZAH!!!
MEDICINAL ALCOHOL!! Sure, it's Muscat, but I don't have any medicinal brandy. Oh yeah, the sickness I mentioned earlier wasn't Whooping Cough (of course), I have a generic "virus". And I'll be getting a vaccination against Whooping Cough and H1N1 when I'm better. Probably a good idea, considering that Whooping Cough is going around Adelaide. Always best to be protected, especially since our really really youngins rely upon us grown ups being protected against it. --------------------

I went to a large high school, at least by Adelaide standards. At the time it had approximately 1,100 students. I am not sure how many of that were in my year.
We had all the fun stuff. Cliques, "popular kids", bullying, a generally jaded student population (well, it was the 1990's), and drugs. On the bright side for me, this meant there were actually kids weirder than me around, which meant I copped less bullying than I did at Primary School. --------------------

Hehe. Managed to upset a large population of Twitter last night by telling them that I've never played any Metroid game ever before.
I'm currently playing Super Metroid. Not that I really know what I'm doing, but at least now I've worked out how a lot of the secret passages and doors work, which is a lot better than when I started and got stuck very quickly. --------------------

One of the worst ideas I think I ever had was to move a chest of drawers with everything still in it. Of course, it tipped, didn't it. Of course it happened to contain a purple vibrator, didn't it? Of course, THAT would be the only thing to come out, roll across the floor, and fall down the gap in the elevator shaft, wouldn't it? Of course there would be a bunch of men around to just watch it roll out and away.
Well, it was only visible for a moment before it was gone forever… Do I win? -------------------- |

Never give anyone a computer, ever. You are now responsible for everything that goes wrong with the computer—whether it is your fault or not. If they hose the operating system, you are now responsible for it. If the power supply explodes, you are now responsible for it. If they get done by a phishing scam, you are somehow responsible. The only way I'm ever giving anyone a computer again is with a legal document absolving me of all responsibility. -------------------- |

Update any chipset firmware too, but it sounds like you may have the beginnings of a motherboard failure. -------------------- |

I fixed my layout. Now it will go with any board scheme, and I have really big text. Really big text in Helvetica Neue if you're lucky enough to have the font installed. And if you're really lucky you'll get the light variation on it. -------------------- |
