battlefield: bad company 2 is $5. Worth it just for BEEP BEEP JIHAD JEEP. If you're wondering about the DLC for it, Vietnam apparently isn't played that much anymore and the SPECACT DLC just has reskins, though it adds four additional kit slots.

Stalker: Call of Pripyat is also p.good, worth the money if you enjoy open-world type stuff.

Darksiders is a goddamn blast, no joke, same goes for Magicka.

For the summer cheevos god fuck the super meat boy one. Downloaded a 100% save file, loaded the game up to get it, then deleted it. This is me not giving a crap.

The hoard one isn't very fun, either. Still need to get the Magicka summer cheevo, though 8)

Defense Grid is a goddamn blast and Torchlight is also in the "This game is a goddamn blast" category. Might need to mod it juuuuust a bit, but it's otherwise fun if you're playing vanilla.

And some (more) stuff from 1.0.6 just got detailed

Game difficulty is also something we are focusing on this patch. The game itself is going to be about 150% more difficult than it is already. But this doesn't mean new players will find them self in a pickle from the get go. This simply means playing the game on soft-core mode will offer you more of a challenge than it previously did and you will need to play more strategically. Hardcore will seem, even more hardcore now as well with these changes.


I'll say about two weeks before the patch lands, at a minimum.
