Before she could even think about where she was, or what her companions just said, Sophie had to kneel down on the ground. Flying really wasn't her thing.
"Why did no one told me that thing would... urk..."
It was only after she looked up that she realized where they were now -- or rather, where they weren't.
"We.. what? Where.. I mean, what? Are we still in.. that tower, or did we get thrown out or something..? I.. mean, no, we're still.. this isn't.. ugh."
Sophie felt too miserable to think that hard. It wasn't just because of the flight just now, something else was bothering her. "If whoever is behind all this can change everything in this.. tower.. at pure will, does that mean that..."
She stopped thinking about it when she saw her group progressing towards the odd structure. She tried to pull herself together and follow them, even if it wasn't easy.
"I'll stay close to you guys for a while, I'm not feeling all that well.. ... I'm going over to square 8 and look what's there..."
Sophie, while slowly walking towards Naia's position, felt like she could throw up any minute.

You always begin to apologize after you already messed up, Mega-Mario. That's too late! And as soon as you recognize that you don't get anywhere with your apologies, you start throwing insults around you again. I'm sorry, but that's really poor.
And this is likely not going to change any time soon. It's not like we already haven't witnessed this in your e-mails (168 times or more), despite you saying that you'd stop.

Sophie immediately forgot her troubles when she saw Naia getting caught in the fierce explosion.
"Holy... Naia!! Naia, are you all right? I hope Pandaren's Mushroom helps.. but just to be safe, ..."
She enveloped Naia in a shield.

As she noticed that her magic somehow grew stronger, Sophie also began to feel a lot better. Her sickness seemed to have gone away. The shield Naia was so kind to cast on her surely helped, too.
"Thanks, Naia." Sophie smiled. "Let's not become too careless, though. I have a feeling that there are still some ugly things waiting for us."
Sophie turned around to face Pandaren. "Hey, big guy. You all right, too? Come on, let's check out this building." She went inside, going for square 15.

I still use it; video-calling a friend pretty much every Sunday night
I just leave it off when I don't need it. (Which is all the time, except for above of course.)

"Don't worry, Pandaren", Sophie said, "if I'll find another one, I'll give it to you."
Having said that, Sophie proceeded to closely examine the wall she was standing at. She couldn't tell from the distance, but there were stones all over the wall, arranged like some sort of ladder. It made sense, since there didn't seem to be any other way to get up to that ledge.
The whole thing didn't look too stable, but Sophie tried to climb up nevertheless.
"I can do it.. one step at a time.. just don't look down..."
Once Sophie climbed halfway up, she began to become a lot more nervous. Unfortunately, this distracted her too much and she slipped.
"Aaaaaaaah!!" Luckily, she landed on her feet, and not her back. "Ow...!"
After this embarrassing move, Sophie surely wouldn't try to climb up just by herself again, so this time, she asked Pandaren for help. "Hey, um, that offer still valid? I think I do need a small lift, here... please?"
Together with Pandaren's help, Sophie tried to reach the ledge above her.

Nothing special, I guess. Years ago I was taller than other people around my age, but everything's normal now (I think).

I started playing video games when I was 1 or 2 years old. My parents owned a NES when I was born, but unfortunately they had to give it away (for some reason) before I was able to play it, so I wasn't able to grow up with it.  I have slight memories of watching my parents play, though. (In particular, Zelda and Clu Clu Land.)
Instead, I grew up with an Amiga 500!  I'm not sure which is the first game I've ever played on it (probably Bubble Bobble or Pac-Man), but I definitely spent a lot of my time at it, back then. (We didn't get a "normal" PC until much later (when I was 6), which might be part of the reason.)
I also played a lot of SNES at my grandparents'. We also had a SNES at home, but I forgot when exactly we got it (could be as late as 1994, so it might not count)

German (native) and, well, English. Somewhat. I guess it's enough for most people around here to understand me, but I still don't feel confident enough to, say, talk with other people in English (as in, using my voice) or something like that.

Same here, .. all my English basically comes from video games and computers. Later on, websites, too.

That's probably just because those copies are less likely to have the relevant security patches applied, I guess.
Nothing has happened here so far, so I guess I'm safe.. for now. I'm not really all that scared, but I did take some backups yesterday just in case.
