| Sophie wasn't feeling very comfortable in this small room. She was reading the note next to the coins, but she didn't believe it was just supposed to be a "test".
"A... test? Someone went through all this trouble, built the tower in this area and everything, just to test us? I don't.. know about you guys, but, uh, I think there's something.. fishy here." She didn't want to take the money at first, being too afraid of a trap of some sort, but she saw another person take one and he was just fine. "Considering what kind of stuff is awaiting us in that 'test'", she thought, "it's probably better if I take some.." And so she did. Having 50c in her hands, Sophie proceeded to the oddly placed vending machine, where she not just wondered about which snacks she would get, she also wondered about what kind of freaking maniac the person behind everything here would be. Looking at the various items, she noticed that her favorite snack was among them - Syrups. She always found them to be quite tasty. "Ooo, Syrups! Maybe they'll help making me feel better a bit.." Having said that, she threw in all her just acquired money, punched buttons, and excitingly awaited her items to fall down. Out came three Syrups, one Mushroom and one Mystery. Sophie now proceeded to the stairs. "Three groups of stairs.. only meant for us to split up here.." Having seen someone taking the right stairs, she figured she'd take the left ones. However, just before she was going to go up, she stopped and waited for a while. She couldn't do it alone, she was just too scared. She turned around and said in a low, frightened voice: "I.. I'm going to take these stairs now. Is someone.. uh.. coming with me? ... please?" |

One looked like he could pack quite a punch, the other one seemed to be a highly skilled magic user. Reimu looked quite skilled, too, even if Sophie couldn't see what kind of special talent she had. "I think we're a pretty good team now." she said. "As for me, well..." Sophie worried about her lack of fighting experience. She thought a while about how big of a problem it would be up there. She sighed a bit before saying "I'm, uh... I hope I won't be completely useless." Feeling a bit ashamed, she turned around and looked at the staircase. "Well.. uh... I think we're good to go now.." Sophie turned around, looked at her companions and said: "Ready when you are." |

Occasionally Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, mainly playing a Lv121 FOnewearl (less often a Lv48 RAcast) And finally, Wii Music. It's more fun than I thought, even if my performances are.. pretty bad  |

| "Just what is this place? ..."
Sophie looked around: the whole floor was decorated just like a peaceful garden. The grass, the trees, the blue ceiling.. it even smelled like fresh air in there. "I.. gotta choose a square, huh? ... Well.. I'm going to pick, uh... 12. I'm just, uh, staying close to you guys for now.." While slowly walking to her square of choice, she began to think to herself again. "The person in charge here really likes to screw with our heads, doesn't he.. we're supposed to think this floor is just that peaceful.. but I'm sure something ugly is going to happen.." |

Sophie tried to stand up. She didn't realize there was something in her way. "Now what could that have be--" She turned around and looked at the Waddle Dum, a creature she has never seen before. "AHHHH! What.. what what what is that... THING?" She was panicking. "What do I do now?!", she thought, "Am I supposed to.. attack it? I.. guess.. here goes..." Not sure whether she was hoping to hit or miss it, she covered her eyes and tried to attack the Waddle Dum by giving it a (not really) well-aimed kick. |

| I tend to experiment with various spices often. Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, paprika, curry, you name it, I've got it
The ones I mostly use are cayenne and curry powder I guess. And, most of the time, it turns out pretty well. |

| As the Waddle Dum disappeared into nothingness, Sophie let out a sigh of relief. "Thanks for the help, Naia." she said. "I will try to be more careful from now on..."
Trying to figure out what to do next, she noticed Pandaren looking at a huge picture with a bomb on it. She shouted over, "Be careful, Pandaren! You better stay away from that thing.." After seeing Reimu wander off to square 24, the square she originally wanted to go to, she had to reconsider. "I hope my lucky number will bring Reimu luck as well. I.. hm. I'm going over to 13, I guess. Unlucky number? Well, 12 was unlucky enough, so it should be fine..." |

| Yeah. Here, in Hamburg (Germany), it actually snowed a little bit today (it's around 2°C/35F now).. haven't seen snow that early for a few years now.
I'm not the biggest fan of snow myself, but it's still good to see it before March... the environment can't be completely corrupt just yet 
And now, a day later, it snowed that much that it was actually white outside when I got up. That's pretty awesome. |

Going into IRC earlier/more frequently (back then) could have reduced that number by a lot, I guess

| Sophie looked at the drink she just found. "Oh, it's one of these.. they're called 'tasty', but I always found them to be too sour for me... Oh well, I'm taking it along anyway."
After she put the vial into her pocket, she looked at the squares that the bomb set free after it exploded. "Are you all right, Pandaren? That was.. quite an explosion." She was already thinking about going to one of the newly accessible squares, when another Waddle Dum caught her attention. "Oh.. it's one of these.. things again. I think I should probably attack it, it doesn't seem to be that strong.." And so Sophie tried to kick the mysterious creature into its giant eye. She already felt less scared from attacking, since the previous encounter went so well for her. [OOC] Ninetales, I think you got things a bit confused there.. the Waddle Dum attacked Pandaren for 3 damage, yet it says "Waddle Dum - 3 damage taken". Also, Pandaren still has 14/14 HP in the stats.  |

It's not just fun to read, but also nice to look at. Keep it up. And.. is that a Cooking Mama game I see in that shelf? |
