That's kind of the way I played. I tried it on hard and expert and just kept trying. I used to pass Jordan on hard with ~80%, and now I can play it ~96% consistently. I still can't beat it on expert though, so I know Through the Fire and Flames on GH3 will never get passed.

Hey cool. Fellow Guitar Hero players. I thought this thread was for Stepmania type games only. May I ask what song you are using to get the 1k note streak, that is if you are sticking to one song to try and get the achievement.
I believe people are suggesting Cult of Personality or One to get that streak. I personally have never gotten passed the 700 note streak, but I haven't really been trying to.
I am mostly focusing on 5 starring every career song on expert. I just need those last 5 songs.
If you can get it on any difficulty, Through the Fire and Flames on easy, if you don't fall asleep XD. I've gotten a good 980+ on One (medium) before the solo, which caught me off guard. Cult of Personality comes close on hard at 997 (and I've FC'd it).
As for me, I'm not starting expert until I either, a) beat Lou on hard with +90% (current high of 88%) or, b) 5 star Through the Fire and Flames (which I'm so damn close to. Current high: ~355,000). And does this game seem A LOT harder than GH1, 2, and 80's on lower difficulties?
