This happened to me far too many times. I thought it was only me.
Same thing, click on a tweet and, wait, while you were clicking, tweets apparently moved around (but not visibly), so now you clicked on the wrong one, and have to go back and hope it doesn't happen again.
I "fixed" it by waiting some seconds and/or scrolling before I click to make sure it's right, but it shouldn't be happening in the first place...
