Posted on 04-27-20 12:37:31 AM, in How to extract/access .snd files from a Windows game? Link
I have a game that I suspect has unused .snd files. Specifically, one of the game's resource files contains a .bmp image and some code for an unused area. The code also mentions several .snd files. I really wanted to extract these .snd files, but I can't seem to find any file extraction software that can extract .snd files from Windows games. Does anyone know of one?

It occurred to me that rather than extracting the .snd files, I could just try to get them to play somehow, perhaps by editing the resource files. I really have no idea where to start with that though. If anyone has any experience with this sort of thing, I'd appreciate any tips.
