Honestly, I'll listen to about anything short of white noise (I'd prefer pink anyways for burning in headphones). I've got rhythm game communities to thank for that so I tend to keep an open mind about such things. If you've got a good enough case, and I've never heard of it, I'll probably sit down with it.

All I remember is the day that I registered my parents divorced the very next day.

Makes it easy to remember both things. That's been about half my life ago at this point.

If Attack, Panel de Pon counts for this thread...

Then that might interest you. Maybe.

If that doesn't count, then yes, I do keep up with the times somewhat.

Acquired a way to blot out noise at work. Helps when I'm working in warranty hell.

It's not the best material, but it works. Lot of people have already said to consider a third-party solution due to ear comfort.

Which, considering the cost of these things, you'd think that would've been figured out from the get-go.

Classic Shell, actually.

And I used OTVDM in this case for CC. But yea, similar concept on both.

They announced 11, btw. Out this holiday. Plenty of systems reporting they can't update to it though. Because M$.

God, I hope not. That was already a major pain in my ass when the forced W7 -> W10 crap occurred back in 2015. I do NOT need a repeat of that right now.

The TPM requirement is the one that's causing the mass kerfuffle online right now. That and the processors are 8th gen Intel/2nd gen Ryzen for the cutoff (so roughly 2018).

Makes me wonder why the TPM is needed. Are we going to be in a position where drive encryption is the norm? I'd rather not have to ask people what their 48 digit BitLocker key is that they have no clue about when their mobo pops and they want 10,000 pics of their grandkids back that they have no backup of...

SRB2K, which is a mod of a mod of DOOM. Huge community, lots of mods, easy enough to add to it as well with the proper tools.

Setting up private servers isn't as much of a breeze but it's doable.

They've had their moments. The forced W7 -> W10 debacle as well as W8's debut are two things that instantly come to mind.

Hell they had to change their terms during setup so you didn't sue them.

With as much paper that was in there for the manuals and whatnot, that would almost qualify. Stuffed a lot of things in such a small box.

I mean I use just about all of them. Hell, the main I'm on I've got more than your lead does (and I technically have 14K posts on the 'banned' account as it stands).

As for longevity of any of them...eh. I've been using the Internet for such things since the advent of AIM back before the turn of the century. Things will come and go as they always do. I still get a hold of people that I thought I lost contact with in other media platforms or in real life as time goes on so it really doesn't bother me all that much.

I might consider it once my back-ordered 3080 comes in. You know the one I ordered under MSRP back in December. Hey it has a fulfillment date of July 1st (that I'm sure it'll miss for the fifth time) so you never know.

But I'm good with 3 1080p monitors at present. I'd rather not invest a whole bunch of money in screens at the moment anyways, given the current market.

Still playing Super Rush. I've got Adventure Mode cleared but it didn't take a long time at all. There were one or two frustrating bits in it but otherwise it felt largely unfinished. I was hoping it would've had at least some sort of Elf's Short Course in it but that never came about...and I doubt they fix it in an update either.

Aside, anyone have AN? I kinda tossed FGO for a main gacha title a while ago just because and have been grinding on this more or less daily when I have the time. Taps my SRPG/Tower Defense need that will soon be adjusted here this next week (Disgaea 6).
