It's a 7th gen Intel on that one though. 2017 model or so. Nothing new but nothing bad either. Though it is the weakest i3 of the line.

You can find some decent Thinkpads around that era on TigerDirect but I doubt you find one for less than around that 400-500 mark for that age.

I penciled in Sanders.

Better than voting for either of the ones we knew were going to get in. Not like you're going to see a third party break the oligarchy.

Legitimately. I have a Core 2 Quad in the other room running it right now.

Hard to say for absolutely certainty but he's got a track record of things done that at least grants the illusion of that security.

Never owned one. I had a 286 running Windows 3.0 at best or 2.0/286. Trying to get 3.1 running on such a device just wasn't happening.

But it was my first real foray into how computers work since I was able to repartition and reformat a drive and install both DOS and Windows on it by the time I was 9 or 10.

I think we're starting to get back into this.

I got drunk on my 21st.

Basically drove the point home that I never would get drunk again. Been 16 years since.

I'll drink very occasionally but it would be a light amount, to say the least.

Gonna put a maybe down due to the equipment I have at home. Decent set of headphones with noise cancel that are worth every penny? Yea I can tell the difference, typically.

Over the air on speakers where you have outside ambience and things happening in the background? Probably not.

320K, to me, is one of those 'good enough' spots. Having 20MB or so FLAC files for every song gets expensive for space real quick.

If I was concerned about exact quality, I'd have the physical copies of whatever. Be it digital disc or analog.

I will say that the older you get, the less likely you're going to be able to tell the difference for higher frequencies ranges.

Which this will tell you.

I can hear the 15K one but I can't hear anything above this at the office. Problem is I don't know if these shitty speakers attached to my office computer -have the frequency response range- to pick up on anything about 16KHz. A lot of cheap-ass speakers will cut off after a certain range or not be all that receptive.

Yea I had 200 bucks, the clothes on my back, got kicked from one state to the other and it was a mixed bag. You get to learn about life real quick when you basically have no one who cares and you're just getting money to survive.

Wouldn't wish it on anyone. I would wish people find their way out of toxic situations however best they can, however.

Actually that -might- be whatever it is you're using to listen to that. Just because your headset has a frequency response range in a certain way doesn't necessarily mean it picks up on all of it equally.

Or you could just have a messed up head too.

Can't say I'd ever do it as a side hustle. It'd kill the fun for me.

Sure hope it does. The one I've used for the past couple of years has done a real good job. Might take a day or two at full blast to really do something though if you're dry as a bone in there.

That could be true too...I didn't look after I got away from the office.
