Hi everyone I'm GarbiTheGlitcheress(Garbi for short), I am a recently-discovered trans girl who likes playing/speedrunning obscure video games, frequently of the kuso variety. I found this place from hearing xkeeper talking about it, and I am always looking for friendly communities to join. I am on twitter a lot, and I sometimes stream on twitch.

Even if I was able to know where everything is, I feel like if I tried to do that, I'd be worried about falling asleep

I remember this one PC math game that we played in elementary school(around 2000 or so). It had a collection of games, but the one I remember the most was a game where you were navigating a space, and when you answered a math problem, it turned you in a different direction. When I try searching for it now, I can't find it anywhere.

I really like Bubble Ghost. Really fun game to try to improve at, and it has awesome music.

Finally found this, it was "Mental Math Games" for PC, still pretty fun playing it today, but don't remember the last level being so cheap :/

Can't decide my favorite for some systems, but for the ones I can:

SNES: Addams Family; it's probably one of the games I've put the most time into, the mechanics and level design really appeal to me
Genesis: Ristar; the mechanics and atmosphere is amazing, and I love the music
Game Boy: Bubble Ghost; I really like these types of games where you have to navigate an obstacle around a maze, and the style and music are charming
Playstation 2: Gitaroo Man, easily; I love the music and gameplay, and the challenge level is good. I spent a long time awhile back trying to get really good at the game, maybe one of my favorite games of all time
Gamecube: Tales of Symphonia - Don't like it as much as I used to at one point, but it's a charming game to go back to every once and awhile
Switch: gotta go with Celeste, has awesome platforming, and I love the story
DS: Kirby Super Star Ultra; the new content, especially metaknightmare ultra, makes it much better than the original imo
3DS: Zelda: A Link Between Worlds; don't remember this game as well as the others, but it's always fun to go back to and explore

I really like doing stuff like that. One thing I've been trying to do on and off is beat a hack called "Bubsy in Sonic 2", where you play Sonic 2, but with the mechanics of bubsy except even worse. I think I've made it to hill top before in one session, but from practicing later levels with level select, the Metropolis boss seems to require nearly frame perfect hits, so it will be hard.

Sonic 2(or any sonic game really) where you keep rings between stages, and the enemies don't take away all, but instead a certain amount of rings depending on the enemy. Preferably a large amount to have it challenging and encourage exploration.(wasn't aiming for stupid so much tbh )

This game is amazing. I'm finally playing this more. Now I just need to complete the C-sides for chapter 5-8. Don't think I want to go for the golden strawberries, just seems annoying to me. Thinking that I'll speedrun it when I get switch capture software. I think that summit B has given me the most trouble so far; had nearly 600 deaths on that
