103.9MHz FM (CIME-FM), playing New Years stuff ... it's the only radio station I get at all with my radio missing its antenna, which might make sense since the station is located 0.1 mile away from here
![]() I'm just listening to it out of boredom, and for a change from my usual MIDI playlist ![]() -------------------- |

I still look at threads here whenever I see them in latestposts ... but I tend to forget they're in this forum, since I only look at the thread titles

Around 5'5" and 125lbs, right between my parents' height (and even grandparents) ... maybe a bit short, but I don't really know anyone over 5'8" or 5'9" in my family (maybe some cousins and uncles), so even 5'11" seems tall to me

I was "Acmlm" pretty much the whole time, until this:

I've only played Megaman 10 (not that much), and a little bit of Donkey Kong Country Returns just yesterday, so I can't really say much
![]() But 3D Dot Game Heroes was definitely great ![]() There's also Dragon Quest 9 and Final Fantasy 13 that aren't in the poll, and probably more I'm forgetting ![]() -------------------- |

1888 was even worse (MDCCCLXXXVIII), 1988 is 2 less letters
![]() But there's also a pretty big difference when just spelling out the numbers, at least in French ... 1999 is "mille neuf cent quatre-vingt-dix-neuf", then 2010 is simply "deux mille dix" Not so much in English, between "nineteen ninety-nine" and "two thousand and ten", or does "twenty ten" work too?-------------------- |

This whole decade can be about Megaman X, even ... first the series as a whole, then MMXI would be Megaman X (1), MMXII would be Megaman X2, and so on until MMXIX, if there's no Megaman X9 by then ... or MMX could also be Megaman 10
![]() Too bad there was no MMX2 and such for CPU's, unlike SSE2 to SSE5 ![]() -------------------- |

I've done it from my PlayStation 3 before, with and without the keyboard ... it goes pretty well when using the keyboard, but it's still much better on the computer
![]() Other than that and Macintosh emulators, I've only ever posted from my computers, since that's all I have ![]() -------------------- |

I do that almost every day, on the whole board ... I don't quite read everything, but do end up in most of the forums from a single page
![]() But today is an exception, obviously ![]() -------------------- |

Go to Google Translate, select From: French, enter "Jul" and click Listen (on the left), and that's close enough to how I pronounce it

My 27" LCD was quite expensive ($1099 + tax), but still worth all of it for me after 3 years ... that whole "HD resolution" trend lately (1920x1080 screens) will never beat my 1920x1200, 178° H/V view angle, full 24bit color and 500cd/m² brightness, only the 6ms refresh
I even use it for console gaming, although it only supports 720p/1080i component at best, no HDMI ...I thought I had posted my computer specs here before, but apparently I never did So here they are:Current computer, since March 2009 - Core 2 Quad Q9400 (2.66GHz), overclocked to 3.00GHz - 4GB RAM (DDR3 1333MHz), down to 1200MHz, 3.25GB usable on 32bit - 500GB (465) hard disk, only 15% full - Radeon HD 4850 - DVD writer, card drives - 8 USB ports (4 used) - Windows XP Pro SP3 - Samsung 275T (27" 1920x1200 6ms, see above) + LG Flatron L1951S (19" 1280x1024 12ms) Previous computer, December 2005 (rarely used now) - Pentium IV 3.2GHz with HyperThreading - 3GB RAM (DDR 400MHz) - 160GB (149) hard disk - Intel onboard video (down from a dead Radeon X700) - DVD writer, another DVD drive, floppy drive, parallel port - 8 USB ports - Windows XP Pro SP2 - Same dual screen setup until the video card died, now sharing the 27" only -------------------- |

I view the main page every once in a while, but mostly to see whether I got new video comments or in case there's something interesting in recommended videos ...
It's still too soon for me to say it sucks, but it definitely has some problems And when I look back at how it was 2 years ago, I still think that was better ... except it had bugs back then, too ![]() -------------------- |

![]() #59 Just a few short spikes with large empty spaces between each for me lately, and it'd only be half as high without that little spree in September 2009 ![]() -------------------- |

500GB for music is a lot too ... that'd fit over 800 hours of uncompressed 44kHz 16bit stereo (.wav), or 3700 hours at 320kbps, or 9300 at 128kbps
![]() Even 320GB for the system partition seems overkill (unless you're going to install a lot of games or large programs), but 750GB for videos makes more sense ![]() -------------------- |
