- Annoying ads, but Adblock fixes most of that
![]() - Large text sizes or spacing when it really doesn't need to be large (sometimes zooming out helps a bit, but not always) - Sites that keep the default background/text colors when custom ones can look bad (more common than you'd think) And some of the above ![]() -------------------- |

![]() #55 Originally posted by DarkdataI've had low sleep like that enough times, and the most I got was 13 hours, or 12 twice, not 18 But just going past 10 already tends to make me tired for the day or stay up late ...-------------------- |

I thought all of it was pretty good (or at least the editing out is well done), but it'd be better if I could compare it with the original

194 is certainly better than 150
![]() I saw it at 106 just a hour ago, with a nice tie at 4 for 4th, so I thought about scoring some easy points ... but ended up needing 6 or 7 anyway ![]() -------------------- |

The same thing as last year, and the year before, and a whole decade and half before that ... pretty much nothing
![]() Maybe I'll use my darker sidebar from last year again, if I don't just waste it by not posting ![]() -------------------- |

I woke up about 2 hours late for 10:10:10, but I could have been there for 10:10:10 PST ... and there's still 10:10:10 PM
![]() 11-11-11 will definitely be better, it's also the first date without a 0 since 12-31-99 (in mm-dd-yy at least) ![]() -------------------- |

After updating the deleted post's thread, it'd only need to find the thread with the highest "last post" date, then its last post, and set the link to that ... that's 3 queries at most, could be done with 2

Workdays: [anywhere from 9:00 PM to 3:30 AM] to 7:30 AM (more often late than early, mostly depends on how tired/bored I am)
Week-ends or days off: about the same or a little later, except I get my full sleep and usually don't get up before 12:00 PM ... I used to have more of a sleeping schedule before (if you could call it that), where I'd sleep from about 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, but I finally broke that a few years ago ![]() -------------------- |

And here I'm not even sure I'll make it to 10, I already ran out of things to post in after 3 or 4 ... yet I hadn't posted for weeks (again) before today
![]() But 4 people went past 10 now (2 of them with 12), so the huge tie might go to waste after all ![]() -------------------- |

I use headphones almost every day since about 10 years, usually fairly loud, and I don't feel my hearing has gotten worse in that time (yet) ...
![]() But my hearing was never that great anyway, I can barely hear anything above 5-10kHz (something like 48kbps MP3 is "good" quality to me, since I can't even tell the difference from higher bitrates) ![]() -------------------- |

![]() #55 Originally posted by Zero OneI've done it a few times too, even managed to rush some homework in under 2 hours and get 15/20 (then A+ for the class) ... but it didn't always go that well either ![]() Other than that, I can count to 199 with my hands ... and no, I don't have 199 fingers ![]() -------------------- |

I have a 27" 1920x1200 and 19" 1280x1024, both have about the same pixel size ... I kept this 19" as a second screen because I got it before the 27", and it still does fine
![]() A second 27" would probably feel too large (or would it?), and I wouldn't switch that 19" for a similar sized widescreen ... although I'm not really using it for 4:3 either, my 27" can handle that ![]() -------------------- |

I live on 3-5 hours of sleep every once in a while (and a few rare times with 1-2) and come out of it fine ... but things get bad pretty fast if I do it multiple days in a row, or all week

There's always the possibly of disabling images in the browser (I tend to do that at work
), then right-clicking to show any of them ... a large part of the wiki would be less convenient to read that way, though ![]() -------------------- |

Of course, but some finger combinations (like 0001111000) would be hard to do, and you'd have to count in binary
![]() I do 199 by turning my hands into the digits themselves, using one finger for the hundred ... it might seem a bit weird, but I came up with that as a kid ![]() -------------------- |

![]() #55
- Add "last edited" and "last edited by" fields for posts (0 by default)
- Update them whenever the post is edited - Show the edit next to "Posted on" (unless it's at 0), using the timezone ![]() I didn't do it that way since it listed all edits (it'd need a separate table for post edits, or store lists in a field), but only the last one is shown here already ![]() -------------------- |

![]() #58 Originally posted by paulguy Was this on a iPhone? ![]() I'm pretty good at typing without looking at the keyboard, but not without doing any typos ... although I'm fine so far Maybe because I'm going a bit slower than usual ...And that's on my usual desktop keyboard, I'm not as good with laptops and even worse on cellphones or anything else, but I have none of that anyway ![]() -------------------- |

I almost never change mine, although I should probably change back from "Milly" to "Acmlm" one day ... except my sidebar wouldn't match anymore
![]() Still, everyone should know by now that both names are me ![]() -------------------- |

![]() #58 Originally posted by Joe Back when I had a 17" CRT (well, I've had 3 of them, but all with the same limits), I could only get 1280x1024 60Hz or 1280x960 70Hz, or 1152x864 75Hz ... I think my 19" LCD (2005) can do 1280x1024 75Hz, but I use 60Hz just because it syncs better with emulators running at 60fps ![]() My father's computer (from 2008) still uses a 17" CRT from 1997, and it can do 1680x1050 and even 1920x1080 at 60Hz ... but 1280x1024 looks better on that ![]() -------------------- |
