It's because the game looked way better graphic-wise at E3 than release, and later it was revealed that they limited the graphics on purpose so that the PC version wouldn't look better than the console release, even though the PC can have better graphics than the consoles at the time.

Also I haven't played it, but I heard the story (and main character) was kind of lack-luster...

Oh wow, I haven't played Classic in ages. I remember back around 2010 or so on an old, now-defunct forum I used to lurk, they had a Classic server as well. They even had a 'Spleef week' that involved them changing the world to a smaller one that was mostly consisting of Spleef arenas.

I might not partake in this event, but I'll consider it. Looks fun, at least!

i watched the latest animator vs. animation short last night and right before i woke up (after sleeping for 4 hours btw) i had a dream that the chosen one and the orange stick figure from ava 4 were sparring after the battle they had with the dark lord the day prior. i think they were training or something. i distinctly the set being that island thing the dark lord was on except it was nighttime

Not many bad movies come to mind (especially since I don't really watch movies ), but one I can say was bad was one of those 'straight-to-DVD grandma checkout line' movies, called Santa Stole Our Dog. Despite having Ed Asner in it, it's super-cheap and honestly kind of so-bad-it's-good at points. They even make a half-hearted point about global warming at the end of the movie for no reason. It's so fucking stupid and I kind of love it.
