I would really like to see the prototypes for the old LEGO games, like Racers, Racers 2, Island, Island 2, Alpha Team, Soccer Mania, Legoland, Drome Racers, and the different Creator and Bionicle games.
What can I say? It was my childhood franchise.
I sorta also want to see what Among Us may have postponed, cancelled, or altered.
There's also this old game called CHIPS CHALLENGE.
Maybe also the 'Backyard' sports series.

So it is confirmed that the virus is volatile in that it is prone to sudden, rapid changes. It mutates.
I'm no scientist, but I think this has something to do with the way it has been spreading:
• China – Not very diversified native population.
• Italy – Not very diversified native population.
• Greece – Not very diversified native population.
• England – Diversified native population.
• USA – Very diversified native population.
With all the diversity, the virus itself diversifies, spawning new strands and infecting more rampantly.
Also, people in the US tend to value personal freedom over personal responsibility, like refusing to wear masks or avoiding large gatherings.
So many parties were held around universities, no place is safe anymore except home, unless one gets frequent visitors.
Personally, I think this gives introverts a chance to dominate. I'm one, and I've been thriving! One thing led to another and somehow I can only credit COVID-19 as the ultimate reason that I received my first paid part-time job.

I really wish Isekai Quartet had Rimuru (Tensei Slime) instead of Ainz (Overlord). Ainz is really depressing and inhuman. Rimuru is a lot less… undead. Both enter a path toward world conquest, one by a complex reliance on his subordinates and 'I don't care about anybody, be my subjects or die,' versus Rimuru's simple 'everybody keeps approaching me, let's be friends and get along please.' The other great thing about Rimuru is that he is a lowly monster with superior skills, and enjoys having fun. Ainz, similarly, is a lowly monster, but he has no room to grow and needs his friends to remind him of his humanity. He has literally no goals that involve other characters; only a search to find other players who stayed behind.
The two universes have a lot in common, but when Ainz is able to pull incredibly cheap and overpowered tricks (Overlord spoilers), that's not a character I can relate to at all. Rimuru, on the other hand, never has suppressed emotions, plays fair, and actually makes decisions for himself rather than letting them all be made for him by his subordinates. Many decisions still get made for him by his closest followers, but he at least tries to give credit where it's due.
There's also a lot more structure to the Slime isekai universe than Overlord has. I'll start with what they both have in common:
1. Guilds and quests
2. Nations at war
3. Treaties/negotiations (moreso peaceful in Slime than in Overlord)
Here's what Shield Hero, Slime, and Overlord all have in common:
1. HUD UI
2. Dragons are rare and extremely powerful (+R:Z)
3. Obtainable skills (+R:Z)
4. Both sentient and non-sentient monsters and demihumans that are categorized into a caste system, and are often segregated into their own territories or villages (+R:Z)
5. Each kind of monster has racial stereotypes (+R:Z)
6. Protagonists have the best healing potions but don't need them
7. Rare herbs and materials
8. Magic and mana (+R:Z)
9. Level-up system
10. Humans and villages (+R:Z)
11. Protagonists are also underestimated simply by their race or profession (+R:Z)
+R:Z = also true for Re:Zero
I also feel like Tanya (Youjo Senki) could relate a lot more to Rimuru than Ainz has.
Bottom line: Who would win in a fight between Rimuru and Ainz? Answer: It's complicated.
Technically, Ainz. But if Rimuru can uncover some of Ainz' humanity, that could give him a chance to strike with Predator. There's also the vorish trope of "once inside, you begin to accept your fate quite willingly" (my words) that could transform Ainz's perspective.
It is for these reasons that I prefer Rimuru over Ainz in Isekai Quartet. Not because I think Rimuru has a chance, but because I think he doesn't, which makes him somebody we'd be rooting for.
We root for the underdog (or in this case, a slime), not the overlord.
Also, there's barely anything that can be considered cute from Overlord that Slime doesn't top ten times over.

Don't hate me for saying this, but I have never gotten tired of or annoyed by hearing Megalovania, unless I'm listening to a poorly-constructed remix.
Really, anything by Toby Fox is aural gold.

About time for some Puffballs United and Innersloth (Henry Stickmin and Among Us) items, don't you think?
(armor) Armless Spacesuit: "It is impossible to tell whether its wearer is an imposter until it is too late."
(usable crap) Distraction Dance: "I… Wh… I just.. Whaat."
Also, Ace Attorney:
(weapon) Objection!: "Super-effective counter-attack to liars. Embarrasses its user if a lie was not spoken."
(usable crap) Dark Coffee: "Hotter and bitterer than Hell itself."
And puns:
(weapon) String of Insults: "Talk smack to use. Note: though not nearly as effective as branches or rocks, it does have a chance to hurt a target's feelings."
(armor) Armoire: "The enemy won't hurt you if you hide behind elegant, antiquated furniture."

I only use the Discord Web-browser application. Fun fact: It used to only be a browser-based app.

I OWNED all my opponents at 2-player Tetris on Facebook. It's what made me feel like such a pro. I did it so much, I had dreams of Tetris.

I thought that for the 2020th thread in this category, we should talk about games from 2020.
What games kept you alive during the pandemic?
What games came out this year? What games got postponed?
How did COVID-19 affect the releases?
I know that Pokémon GO got a lot of nifty changes. I tried it out for a while. It's still mostly pay-to-win since you run out of Pokéballs quite often, and you have to use more to get more.
Do you think that it was a boom or a bust for the gaming industry?
We're coming upon the Xbox Series S and Series X soon, as well as the PS5.
I remember this book I read called The Lemonade Crime, in which a kid owns something called an "Xbox 2020" which seemed legit to me at the time, but… This model never existed, and it's nigh impossible to find any evidence now without running into ads that mention the 2020 release of the Xbox Series X & S, and even the PS5.

I did one of these once, but all I did in it was change the text files so that the dialogue was different, faster, etc.
I guess you could call this thread "I hack things sometimes" after the name of Tarale's art thread. :1
I suddenly want to see a linguistic corruption where it goes through Google Translate back and forth a few times.
