Here is a debug code enabler that I made. It would be great if someone could fully go through all these options and document them. I ask this as I'm not fully familiar with the game (nor do I know how to properly edit a wiki).

Here's a assortment of pictures. And a video soon to be processed. (32 mins long!)

Enable Code (only if using a cheat device on a real PS2)

Change "VIEWER" in main debug to more hidden debug options. These all refer to text strings and proper functions not present in the main debug menu but can be enabled.

0106=REAL TEST. Enables sound related stuff it seems. The 2 EDL tests make the game hang. Not sure how MOVIE works. SHOP has a ton of NPC's with items and such.
0107=BATTLE2. Enables more battle related stuff. EDL_TEST has NPC's with a ton of options. Sadly all garbage text.
010A=2DANIM_TEST. Enables animation and shop stuff. 2D_TEST causes the game to hang. 2DANIM_TEST draws a glowing cube on screen. Circle seems to start its animation again. Unsure how MENU_TEST works.
010B=GAM_TEST. Adds more mini game options it appears.
0208=EDL_TEST. Enables more test related stuff. Some seem to be copy's of others (maybe slightly different?) while some are new. Mostly shop related stuff. (0048EFF8)
020F=STATUS_TEST. Enables some menu options.


When you load maps from the debug menu and spawn in them, you can always zoom in / out with L1/R1 and right analog stick to rotate the camera freely. You will also get all items and a ton of money.

NEW GAME2
This places you spots in the story. Test seems to not do anything interesting.

VIEWER > CHARA (Hi)
Yields a bunch of corrupted text. No options appear to work and / or crash the game.

VIEWER > CHARA (Town)
You can view and play char's animations and play as them in this mode.
Buttons:
Circle = Confirm.
X = Back
Up / Down = Move through options.

While inside animation debug:
L1 / R1 = Zoom in / out camera.
Select = Reset camera.
Circle = Play action.
Up on D-PAD = Change Footstep option.
Left / Right on D-PAD = Change Animation.
Might be a way to change the Speed option.

Menus:
NEW = Seems you can only select a few main chars here.
108 Stars = View the 108 Stars.
Third option = View another assortment of chars.
Fourth option = View animals.
The rest of the options are probably NPCs.


VIEWER > MAP
Spawns you in a assortment of maps. X to go back and Circle to confirm.

VIEWER > BATTLE
Battle and stage animation viewer options.
L1 / R1 Change category. When you enter you will be on 108 Stars. Press L1 once to go to Field maps. Here you can view all the backgrounds. L1 again for enemies.
X = Confirm.
Circle = Change costume if available.
Left / right = Change Page.
Up / Down = Move.

Inside animation / stage viewer buttons:
Up / Down (D-PAD) = Move.
Left / Right (D=PAD) = Change animation options.
Circle = Play animation.
Triangle = Store animation in the List setting. This store them and then plays them in the order they are stored in.
X = Play animations that are stored.
Square = Clear stored animation.
Select = Loop selected animation. Again to stop looping.
L3 = Toggle text on / off.
R3 = Toggle lighting.
L2 = Freeze animation. L2 again to unfreeze.
R1 = Change effect displayed on char's sword.
Start = Back.
I believe there is a way to loop stored animations forever as well.

VIEWER > DEMO
Plays cutscenes from the game.
Up / Down / Left / Right = Move.
X = Confirm.
L1/R1 = Change chapter.

VIEWER > EFFECT
A test map to play a bunch of effects. Impossible to tell what you're selecting as there is corrupted text.
Analog sticks move camera.
L1/R1 zooms in / out camera.
Circle plays effects.
D-PAD right/left change effects in category.
D-PAD up / down changes effects category.





BATTLE
Buttons in first screen:
Up / Down = Move.
Left / Right = Control options of what is selected.
Triangle = Back to main debug screen.
Circle = config party options such as equipment. Also erases items equipped in party options.
L2 / R2 (Config party buttons) = Change more parameters for selected person.
X = Start battle.


First option: Select the stage background.
Second option: Changes the enemy type to fight. First is normal battles. Second is monster packs. Third is bosses.
Third option: Changes enemies related to second option.
Forth option: Changes party member layout. Also saves the layout in that slot number. (Can only save and choose people in slot #0)
Fifth is choose what party to have.
Second to last option: Enable choice for enemy attack.
Last option: Choose what level your party is.

WAR
Overworld strategy battles. Selecting WAR CHAR VIEWER lets you select and see animations of models. Circle to confirm.
Selecting CUTIN VIEWER yields the same as above except for scenery and battle demos.
Same as above but even more options.
> WAR PROG DEMO
First: type of army that belong to the protag. Choose with left or right. L2/R2 chooses who is their leader.
Second: type of army that belongs to the enemy. Options same as above.
Third and forth: control what map.
Fifth: controls what type of army?. Some options will hang the game.
Sixth: Unsure
> WAR SHIP DEMO
Same as above but for sea battles. There is no map options.

MINI GAME
Play all the mini games here.

SOUND
Up, down, left, right = move through options.
Circle = play slot #
Square/Tri = Change Effect. This changes the type of echo / reverb played on slots
Select = Pose. No idea what it does.
R1 = Play all voices in order.
X = Stop
L1 = Voice B. Not sure what it does.
Start = Return to main debug menu
NOTE: When there is a X in a slot it means it is not on the disc. Perhaps the Japanese version has some missing songs?

IKKIUCH
1v1 combat choices.
Use DPAD to move up and down.
X = Confirm
R1 = Debug. No idea what it does.

LOADING
Changes the loading screen icon. Press L1 to go back.

NEWSPAPER
Test map.

I'm not a master at Japanese but these translations should be fairly accurate.

The first text says "Crystal Fragment received!"
The second line after that I believe says: "Magician job change now possible!"
Last line says: "Minstrel job obtained!"

I made a stage modifier code myself about a year ago and I'm pretty sure there's several unused stages, but I know next to nothing about this game. It could be more information to add to a future article.
