There's some guy that works at the local computer warehouse that reminds me of Xkeeper for no real good reason.

Other than that, maybe the Colin/Canada thing. And a lot of things remind me of Keitaro, but that one's not really fair..

It doesn't specify a god. I won't pretend I know a thing about US history and I know that god with a capital G typically refers to the Christian god, but I also find it equally ignorant that one just assumes that when god is mentioned it means the Christian god, despite the "popularity" of his usage or whatever you want to call it. Personally I feel it means in any god you trust. Be it buddha, or even if you are athiest then in something you believe in strongly. Its kind of like saying "we trust in what we truly believe in", its kind of just like a saying, you know? Again I'm not from here so for all I know it could have everything to do with Christianity. As for the nutjob...I really don't get them. I'm a pretty religious myself but I would never go around preaching my agenda down other people's throats. To me, religion is somewhat of a personal experience...you should keep it to yourself because its a genuine connection between you and your beliefs. When you go around forcing them on others I feel like that kind of belittles whatever connection you had because you aren't really believing in something other than just because you feel like those who aren't will go to hell etc...you know what I'm saying .-.

Not sure if any of you would care or keep up with this, but he went missing around Sept. 11th and they just now have found what they think could be his remains. Article here. He was a very talented individual and if this is so (seems pretty likely), he'll be greatly missed

Anya's right, they started out as a hanafuda card company and look where they are today. Amazing how things can really change the way they do. Of course without innovators like Miyamoto and Yokoi, as well as the clever dealings of former president Hiroshi Yamauchi and the president before him, Nintendo would never be as we know it now. Happy birthday not just to Nintendo, but also congratulations to every one of those people who made Nintendo a success.
