This was me for a while, though I think for me it stemmed from more of a fear of the opposite gender and a sense of comfort from the same (without getting in to the grueling details). Lately it's more...I could care less about sexual relations and while I find guys attractive I have no real desire to pursue anything. It's more of "my life is crazy enough without another whole set of drama" sort of things. I ticked off asexual but I guess you can call me straight. I don't know. It's not like I wouldn't have sex with a girl either, but I certainly could never date one. Eh..

I collect insects...when I was younger I used to have many who I'd catch and then eventually let go. I've caught two kabutomushi beetles who've become pets of mine (one came from the larva stage in a controlled but natural environment so I could come back later and catch them), and I used to own several silk worms...I also like caterpillars and similar creepy crawlies, but they can be sort of difficult to sustain unless you have the right kind of environment (and even then...)

In Japanese games I usually used サックン (Sakkun) if the character was supposed to be "me" (Sakkun could be short for Satoko or Satoshi so it works universally), and otherwise just the character's name...

also I didn't see anything remotely homophobic about that statement. It was an example of how people he knows flaunt their homosexuality in an annoying manner. I think we need to chill with the facepalms. I know I started it, but I didn't honestly expect it to go this far. I think the first lady is a little bit eccentric...we get a few of those, I'm sure there's plenty of those anywhere. I know a couple of bi-sexuals and I used to identify as such myself (less so now as I know I could never date a female. Or...really anyone)... though in my case I think it was just a "phase", perhaps. Not that I think homosexuality is a phase. That'd be...really ignorant.
