| Well then they can do it themself, but for the purpose of the engine itself it should be conventional, which was my whole point in the first plaaaaace. Being as its open source, anyone who likes it in any other format can do that. |

I kinda said that  but if they nickname the Pokemon in their own game that nickname will stay as well. I think it is brilliant how well-engineered Gamefreak has made even the simplest concepts |

| don't be too surprised, FireRed has plenty of unused gizmos. Overworld sprites of the legendary dogs from the Japanese beta, a Mew overworld sprite, leftover Ruby and Sapphire sprites and the presence of some leftover Ruby and Sapphire tiles and graphics are just a few. Not to mention the entirely unused surfing on a Lapras poses for both heros. |

| You do know adding them to your friend list lets you see their profile? also if you are in a network as someone (same school etc) you can see their profile without adding them, unless this is disabled. Honestly that was the idea facebook was meant to be a school-based social network, it just kind of evolved but the concept remains the same.. |
